If you look at the flight details for flights that have the same IFE and same IFS profile - each flight will have a slightly different rep based on the flight length. Longer flights have higher expectations.
I am currently looking at some changes to the demand formula related to improving the supply vs demand. And probably a few other changes. What we have now is not the final version of what we will have once the reset occurs.
Noticed the difference. And while testing things out I just realised that you probably give to huge a rep boost to having a bar? I have tested flight reps before and after a bar and realise that on short haul trips, they literally boost me from 50+ percent rep on Y to 90+ percent rep on Y
And also I think it's really important to reevaluate the demand formula to make it more newcomer friendly. Right now I started a new airline and lowered prices in Y by over 10-15% of the average prices of my competitors on one route. But with 20+% Y rep I am literally getting no demand from the economy class and only have profits coming from my other classes on that route (I mean seriously I get my F,J,W almost full but no Y passengers on a normal airline??) Probably there needs to be an adjustment such that Y passengers should be more than necessary.
And also we should not get our lower classes punished if we are offering lower prices on a higher class as compared to our competitors. Take an example: I offer $2950 for a Business class flight and $4500 for a First-class domestic flight while my nearest competitors offer crazy prices of about $3700 for business and $7500 for First. When I tried to run it I got a rude shock to see my business class empty and my first class full. A check in the research page shows that my first class would be overflowing. So I don't understand why and how does other people's high first class Prices prevent my business class from filling up? Probably something else could be done there.
