OASYS Ultra-Long-Haul Takes Off
OASYS, Australia's most luxurious and largest airline, has launched flights on some of the longest routes in the world. After taking delivery of three ultra-long-range Airbus A350-900ULR aircraft, the airline has launched two brand-new routes. These groundbreaking flights are the first true "kangaroo route" flights.
LONDON
Sydney to London has launched on June 19. The flight is operated daily by the A350-900ULR. London and the UK have long had a strong connection with Australia, yet the enormous distance between the largest cities of both countries has made it impossible for a non-stop flight to operate, until now. With OASYS, you can fly direct from Sydney to London in just 19 and a half hours, less time than ever before. The direct connection between the two cities will operate daily.
TORONTO
Long-time OASYS codeshare partner Maple Air has an enormous hub at Toronto, which is a logical step for OASYS expansion. With the A350, you can be at the home of the CN Tower, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Tim Horton's in just 17 and three quarters hours! From Toronto, you can now connect onto Maple Air flights all around eastern Canada and the United States, as well as Trans World Airlines flights to US hubs from the city. Those wishing to go to Europe can also connect through Toronto utilizing Maple Air's vast European network. The inaugural flight to Toronto from Sydney will be on Thursday, June 20, and will be accompanied by festive celebrations before, after and during the flight. Toronto flights operate twice per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A frequency increase for the route is planned - operations yet to be announced.
KUALA LUMPUR
While OASYS does currently operate flights to the Malaysian capital, the A350 aircraft have provided an opportunity to increase service. Starting Saturday, June 22, fly to Kuala Lumpur on-board the Airbus A350, as we add three new weekly flights from Sydney, bringing our total to 10 flights per week. A350 operations to Kuala Lumpur operate on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
