That's true, but you have to consider a few things:

Employee/staff cost is not yet implemented.
Maintenance cost is not yet implemented.
Infrastructure/Building costs and upkeep is not implemented yet.

Those are 3 major cost categories that, once implemented, will counter-act the massive profits earned by your aircraft. Of course it is a game, so I don't want to make completely realistic profit margins, cause that would be no fun. But In the future there will be more costs associated with running your airline than there is now.

Take employees for example. At a minimum, with only 1 aircraft, you need some check-in agents, 2-3 pilots, 2-3 flight attendants, 3-4 ground agents/baggage handlers, maybe a customer service rep or two, and several corporate employees that handle things like marketing, route research and scheduling, procurement, and so forth. Let's say you pay an average yearly salary of $40,000 USD for each employee, which is quite low. That's $60-$70k per month in salary costs.

Then you have to lease the office building that your corporate employees work in, that is another several thousand per month depending on the size and location.
