That infrastructure bill would be the most sensible thing they can do, because frankly I am surprised it has not yet seen a total collapse. I has not seen proper maintenance and upgrades for far to long and I would not be surprised if far more money is needed.
In the meantime I am looking fearful at our upcoming elections, feels like the left is making the same mistakes here although the current right wing in charge fucked up a lot of things and did not keep a lot of promises, but than that is hardly something new. The downside of our system is that in the end there always needs to be a coalition to get a majority and that means everything is compromised and nothing really tends to get done properly.
