I ran into an issue with my gate again today. I was looking back through my financial report to see what has been going on, and I noticed a line entry for not having an open gate in Montreal (YUL). However, I only have one route that flies into Montreal, so I'm not sure why I would not have a free gate, unless it had glitched and shown the gate as busy after it had left.
I went back to my gate management page to see if I was getting the same error as before, but it was showing the gate as available. Perhaps the second flight was able to clear the gate again once it had left, which is why it now shows as available, who knows.
