Well Southwest announcing they are flying to Hawaii is nothing new. 
This has been going on for years.
That being said this is the first I've heard of them thinking about inter-island flights. I tend to side with those saying it might not work.
Anyway, it is all heresy until they actually start flying there, and again, it has been almost ten years now.
