People in general do not care, I mean look at Delta they fly tons of old stuff and are fine with it.
Also personal bias, but truth, people would rebook tickets to fly on the VC10 which had no IFE instead of flying on the newer 747 which had IFE
So yeah the plane really does not matter much for the majority of people.
