The Bourne Identity
Is it worth the watch?:
Yes
Why is it worth the watch?:
Somehow I completely skipped over the Bourne movies, so I decided to do some catch up and see what is what. Watch the first one at home a few days ago and found it quite compelling, I love how you feel the confusion of Jason so well throughout. It is also nice to see a movie from the day when things where just a tad more low tech in some ways, it just felt refreshing and also a sign of just how fast things have been moving. Anyhow I will say it is certainly worth a viewing.
And the first followup: The Bourne Supremacy.
Is it worth the watch?:
Yes
Why is it worth the watch?:
A great follow up to the first movie, which is always a pleasant surprise considering the track record of sequels with movies. It starts where the last one left off and I think it starts really well, cutting out all the weight that could slow him down or weaken him right from the start means we are back to business. It is clear he still suffers from all the events and his memory loss, but that machine like programming that went into his mind still works like a charm. I will say the main twist if you can call it that was so obvious it was a bit cliche, but meh I don't mind that to much. I will say they handled it really well. Finally I love how those last words at the start stuck with him throughout, O and an injury is at least somewhat displayed, though well it is still action movie style
