PRESS RELEASE
Kingston, Jamaica - September 26, 2018. Air Caribbean is pleased to announce that we have place a firm order for 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with options of 15 more. We selected this aircraft to meet our long term goals within the airline. The MAX 8 will be complementing the Boeing 737-800NG fleet, with some of the MAX 8 replacing older 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft will feature improved In-Flight-Entertainment with WiFi capabilities.
"The Boeing 737 family has played one of the most important factor in Air Caribbean's success. With the MAX 8, we will be able to operate more efficiently with lower fuel burn, also increasing our customer satisfaction and new destinations." said CEO Drake Palmer.
The aircraft shall be arriving after our last Boeing 737-800NG aircraft has arrived.
Air Caribbean remains a loyal Boeing customer with our mainline fleet of only Boeing aircraft.
