Yes, a lot of people were upset with the current political state. A few people mentioned to me something about the government seizing a lot of the local farms and taking them over. Then of course the government-run farms don't perform nearly as well as they did when they were privately operated and some of them ended up getting shut down entirely. That along with widespread corruption in the government.

But then you contrast that with stories from some of the Uber drivers that came from neighboring countries like Zimbabwe or Botswana and the state of those places and they were very happy to be living in South Africa now.
