PRESS RELEASE

Kingston, Jamaica - September 26, 2018. Air Caribbean is pleased to announce that we have place a firm order for 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with options of 15 more. We selected this aircraft to meet our long term goals within the airline. The MAX 8 will be complementing the Boeing 737-800NG fleet, with some of the MAX 8 replacing older 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft will feature improved In-Flight-Entertainment with WiFi capabilities.

"The Boeing 737 family has played one of the most important factor in Air Caribbean's success. With the MAX 8, we will be able to operate more efficiently with lower fuel burn, also increasing our customer satisfaction and new destinations." said CEO Drake Palmer.

The aircraft shall be arriving after our last Boeing 737-800NG aircraft has arrived.

Air Caribbean remains a loyal Boeing customer with our mainline fleet of only Boeing aircraft.

PRESS RELEASE

Piarco, Trinidad & Tobago - October 5, 2018, Air Caribbean is advising customers that we have cancelled 44 of its 252 scheduled flights on October 5, 2018, due to an unnecessary and unreasonable strike by our cabin crew in Trinidad & Tobago. All affected customers have received email messages this morning advising them of their flight cancellation, where we are waiving the rebooking fee.

Air Caribbean sincerely regrets these unnecessary customer disruptions, which have been called by the unions. The cause of the strike stems from unjustified claims about unfair wages, where Air Caribbean is actively in healthy wage discussions with their recognized unions, where we plan on increasing wages by 100%.

Air Caribbean sincerely apologises to the 4,800 customers who are likely to be affected by these unjustified disruptions.

Air Caribbean Chief Operations Officer Paul Blake said:

“We sincerely apologise to those customers affected by these unnecessary strikes, which we have done our utmost to avoid, given that we are having discussions with these unions about wage increases. This strike is completely unjustified and will only hurt the cabin crew in the long run. Our Cabin crew in the Madrid and Jamaica bases are doing fine, we have heard of no complaints from them about possible wage increases. We believe our Cabin Crew in Trinidad & Tobago are completely unfair and unrealistic in the demands they want."

Thank you for your support!

(Air Caribbean employees were forced to unionize and has been creating havoc over wage disputes ever since! Our T&T cabin crew base are the only one that are unionized)
