True, there seems to be more plastic cutlery than metallic ones, nowadays. Some pilots actually try to bring their own cutlery on board, and the security guards actually confiscate them!

Yes, because they could use them as weapons.
I think they also only gave out plastic cutlery on the concorde as well

I mean GA pilots don't eat on-board of course. Most prop pilots probably get nothing, since the pax wouldn't get anything either.

Back in the days of long-haul propliner flights, pilots probably got great meals, and lots of them since the flights were so long. Similar to the passengers I would assume. They probably also got stuff like metal cutlery
