Well the pay is good being as I’m an A&P mechanic which makes up for basically living there and I’m hourly and not on a salary like some people are. But in the end I signed up for this shit when I decided to get my A&P license lol

Still 80 hours a week leaves little time to do anything else, so yeah no thanks in my book.

I'd never do 80. My last job worked the salary people 60 hours and that's why I left.

With the slow months in total for the year it comes out to about 50 hours a week when spread evenly across all weeks of the year but 40+ weeks is what you sign up for when you work hands on with aircraft. But you get use to it and can fit everything and anything in during Monday-Friday I sleep about 6 hours a night and still manage with work to go to the gym every day for at least and hour minimum plus still spend time with my fiancé. But I understand what you mean if the money wasn’t there I wouldn’t do the time either tbh
