Max just flew by Lewis there. With the Ferrari's gone red bull had the speed that the Merc's didn't. Happy for Max, his car lasted until the end of the race for once.
It will probably tighten up the competition a little bit by decreasing the costs. That along with the composite bodies they are introducing next year should offer some significant cost savings meaning smaller teams can spend less on engines and bodies and more on development, wind tunnel testing, etc. That's my guess anyway.
