More Long-Haul Expansion!


Realines has just signed a long-term lease agreement with British Airways for the lease of a recently retired Boeing 767-300ER, 4R-MCA. The new aircraft has been used to open a brand-new Colombo to London-Gatwick route, which will operate six times weekly, and a new Colombo to Cairo route, which will operate on Tuesdays.

As the aircraft was operated by British Airways, the in-flight entertainment system has remained in the cabin. Passengers can enjoy watching a selection of movies, TV shows, and the moving map displayed througought the cabin on all flights operated by the new aircraft.

The 767-300 series aircraft features additional seating over the -200 series, allowing for even more passengers to enjoy our most popular routes.

Short and Medium-Haul Explosion!


Realines has just acquired two new aircraft, which are enabling brand-new routes and more frequencies on existing routes!

The first aircraft is 4R-MDC, a McDonnell Douglas MD-88, leased from Delta Air Lines. This aircraft is equipped with WiFi capabilities, provided by GoGo. This new plane will operate three new routes, which are as follows:

Colombo to Dammam - 4x weekly
Colombo to Riyadh - 3x weekly
Colombo to Bangalore - 1x daily

The second new aircraft is 4R-MCB, a Boeing 767-300 leased from Delta Air Lines. This plane offers GoGo inflight WiFi, and will operate two new medium-haul routes, as well as expand a third:

Colombo to Beijing - 3x weekly
Colombo to Perth - 3x weekly
Colombo to Cairo - additional flight on Wednesdays (route now served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Realines Receives two new aircraft, announces new routes

Realines has received two new Bombardier Dash-8 aircraft, one Dash-8-100, and one Dash-8-300. The -100 is registered 4R-MSC, and is leased from Jazz Aviation LP. The -300 is registered 4R-MTA, and is the first DHC-8-300 to be added to the Realines fleet. This aircraft is leased from Piedmont Airlines, and is equipped with 56 seats, including 18 Realines Plus seats. The two new aircraft will introduce some new regional routes:

• Colombo to Pune - increase from once daily to twice daily, new frequency operated by Dash-8-300
  
• Colombo to Trichy - once daily, operated by Dash-8-300
  
• Colombo to Cochin - once daily, operated by Dash-8-300
  
• Colombo to Nagpur - twice daily, operated by Dash-8-100

Realines introduces new China route

Realines has just taken delivery of a 4R-MCC, a Boeing 767-300 leased from Delta Air Lines. The aircraft will feature in-flight WiFi provided via the GoGo system. The aircraft will be used to introduce the following new route:

Colombo to Shanghai - once daily

New routes with other aircraft are currently being considered to optimize aircraft scheduling. Stay tuned for more announcements.

Realines introduces New Long-Haul Flights

Realines has just taken delivery of a 4R-MCD, a Boeing 767-300ER leased from British Airways. The aircraft will feature overhead TV entertainment displaying TV shows and movies on long-haul flights.. The aircraft will be used to introduce the following new routes:

Colombo to London-Gatwick - one additional weekly flight bringing the total to once daily
Colombo to Barcelona - Saturdays
Colombo to Manchester - Sundays
Colombo to Rome - Mondays and Thursdays
Colombo to Milan - Tuesdays and Fridays
Colombo to Seoul - Wednesdays

The routes will start operations in a number of hours, and the two inaugural flights for the aircraft, scheduled for London Gatwick and return, have already sold out. Enjoy your flight!

End-of-year Expansion!

In the last full week of 2018, Realines has leased three used aircraft, which are being used to open several new routes! The aircraft are:

4R-MBC, a 767-200ER leased from GOL
and
4R-MDD and 4R-MDE, two MD-88s leased from Delta Air Lines and equipped with WiFi connectivity from GoGo inflight.

The aircraft will be used to open new routes, which will greatly increase the options available to Realines passengers:
Colombo to Madrid to Los Angeles - Wednesdays and Sundays, 767-200ER
Colombo to Kiev - Saturdays, 767-200ER
Colombo to Istanbul - Additional flight on Tuesdays, 767-200ER
Colombo to Mumbai - Additional daily flight, MD-88
Colombo to Hong Kong - once daily, MD-88
Colombo to Kolkata - once daily, MD-88
Colombo to Kuala Lumpur - once daily, MD-88

New Year Route Explosion!

Realines has gone through painstaking efforts to expand our route network for you for your new year's travel, with the start of several new long-haul and short-haul routes. The new aircraft to carry out these routes are:

4R-MGE - MD-87, Leased from Sunrise Asset Management
4R-MBD - 767-200ER, Leased from Air Canada
4R-MCE, 4R-MCF, 4R-MCG - 767-300ER, Leased from Boeing (new aircraft)

These five new planes have been used to open several new routes and expand others. The new routes and expansions are as follows:

Colombo to Male: 2x additional weekly frequencies on Monday and Wednesday, 767-300ER

Colombo to Sydney - Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, 767-300ER

Colombo to Seoul - Additional frequency on Tuesdays (total 2x weekly), 767-300ER

Colombo to Amsterdam - Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday, 767-300ER

Colombo to Geneva - Friday, 767-300ER

Colombo to Paris-Orly - Monday, Thursday and Saturday, 767-200ER

Colombo to Berlin-Tegel - Wednesday and Sunday, 767-200ER

Colombo to Istanbul - new Friday frequency (total 3x weekly), 767-200ER

Colombo to Munich - Tuesdays, 767-200ER

Colombo to Seychelles - 1x daily, MD-87

Colombo to Pekanbaru (PKU) - 3x weekly, MD-87
