Staff, Journalist, same thing. I don't think I have a bio or anything there yet so you can't find me yet Big Grin I still have to write my bio and send a pfp to my boss. But that takes time lol.

I'm gonna put a bar in a regional jet. It's super realistic  Big Grin

Well, I think Zortan feels that United is not operating realistically at all ( and ironically, I agree and disagree). It is a real event sure enough, but the people who are doing it are crazy Big Grin

Well United has its reasons for this but I cant use it here.

It's not a bar lol. It's there because they only need 1 FA (because it's a 50-seater, and you need 1 FA per each 50 seats), so they put the bar there so the FA doesn't have to do as much work for the first class pax. The CRJ550 was developed solely to cheat pilots and FAs pretty much. UA has a cap on having 285 (or somewhere around there) 76-seater regional jets, but they're allowed to have enough 50-seaters to take up 90% of their fleet if they want. That's just how their agreements work. So, since they're getting very close to 285 76-seaters, they needed a creative solution, which is the CRJ550, which is a CRJ700 with fewer seats so it counts as a 50-seater which means the contracts are happy and they can pay the pilots less, and they need one less FA. So I'd say it's realistic, but it's mostly just UA acting a bit like scumbags lol.
