There seems to be some sad news about Airbus deciding to stop A380 production by 2021. I will miss that big whale

I remember my first sighting of that airplane at ICN. It was Etihad right in front of my small Airbus A320 window. I dont know the registration, but it was a big day for a 7 year old me.

Yup. My first sighting of the great aircraft was amazingly on the unique aircraft bridge over the road to Changi Airport, and boy was it imposing!
An example:

Those big birds. Hopefully I'll try them sometime

The A380 was a bit of a mess
![]() And Anzatax - JFK has a bridge similar to that I believe - I've been on it on a Cathay 777. A380s are huge - it's insane haha. I saw one at a gate next to a 777 and it just dwarfed it lol.

I've been on a bridge on RDU and DTW. Well, they are very small, but they have roads under them.
Oh, and one of ATL's runway has a highway or something under, been on the runway too. And SEA. been both over and up

Oh forgot Everet. Yeah there's a lot

Well, its not that unique after all, but it was still an impressive way to see the plane up close

Yes it is impressive to see that for sure! And it's pretty awesome going over one of those bridges as well and watching the cars go by under you.
