Do you tend to spend all of your $500 million at the start of the game by clocking debt and a larger fleet, or do you simply pay cash and wait for green growth?

I paid 100% for the first 3 A321s and 10 ATRs. then because i was feeling bored and it is just BETA I thought some debt won't be bad. So I paid 40% and for 5 ATRs. So I was left with around 14-15 million. Have to pay nearly 36 million on April 6-7-8-9-10. But I am earning good and would be able to make up the money. I really liked 40-60, 50-50 etc. options for payment.

So I reset my airline and am not flying 8 aircraft. I was wondering why I wasn't getting much rating increase and have not realised I never purchased extra gates at my HQ. LESSON LEARNT

Jep gates at home base can cost you, seriously I spend north of 2mil a week just on gates at home base.

I know gates at Gatwick my Home are 47,000 a week

I've got tons of shared gates, even at my home base. Much cheaper.
I usexpect shared gates at all of my destination airports but not my home.
Anyone else in debt or am I doing good some thing wrong. Should I have less planes to begin with?
How does one get in debt? I only have 15 mil at the moment...guess I should have ordered more A330s before the delivery payments of my E190s began... strike that, I now have 1.5 million after purchasing a 747-200 without realizing that the runway at my home airport is 21 feet too short. Yep, 21 feet. Guess I'm just screwed now.
How many a330s do you have. I am not in debt at the moment but I was before I reset. I just keep buying like 8 regional/mid range aircraft. At the moment I have 2 737's, 3 CS100's and 3 q400's. Once my delivery repayments go out in a couple of weeks I will be in debt and no way will I make enough to money between now and then to avoid that!!
