Seat configuration

Hi.

What is the effect of leaving 0.1 seats remaining in a seat configuration?

Thanks.

nothing, you simply don't use the full space Smile

I think it was suggested that if you leave seats free you get more passengers due to higher legroom. Im not sure if the effect will be noticeable with 0.1 seats or if unk has implemented it.

I've implemented it into reputation, but not passenger count. So if you have some slots remaining you earn higher reputation due to more legroom.

Either way, 0.1 remaining slots will have no noticeable effect.

Since I'm using real world seat configurations, I'm always surprised, how many seat slots I've still got left.

Though, seeing that this counts towards more legroom and higher reputation, it can only be for the better.

Yeah I think those published max capacities are basically like packing a bunch of sardines into a plane. Even the LCC's don't go that far. yet.

Oh. Well, I guess I stand corrected Tongue the only LCC I've flown on is Southwest. They come pretty close but not quite max capacity. 1-2 rows less than max.

BA are cutting their legroom to Les then Ryanair. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/news/b...hort-haul/

I have no idea but if you always have spear seats could it be that the sizes for the other classes are too small, as I'm, a business class seats is actually more then whatever value we have now times greater then an economy.

Well the spare slots are caused by the values not dividing evenly into the max slots number. Right now a business class seat is 2.25 times the size of a standard economy seat, which seems about right to me. But I've never flown business class to compare it lol
