Well done, best to put that first. How is the game comming along so far?

Been working on route setup/creation. I need to finish that. It's about halfway done I'd guess. Then I can work on assigning routes to aircraft and making them actually fly. Not much has been done in the last 4 weeks honestly because of this project. And now I gotta drive to the complete opposite side of town to present it. Dammit lol

What's the case competition about? I loved them freshman and sophomore year but not so crazy about them anymore lol it gets old quick

Yeah I'm not so crazy about them anymore either.

It's basically about forming a sourcing strategy for steel for Halliburton. Gave us an excel sheet with 15,000 lines of spend data and we have to go through and analyze how they can save money by supplier rationalization and utilizing leveraged spend, stuff like that. Logistics is a big part of it too because steel is heavy and transporting it is expensive.

The nerve racking part is going to be presenting it to senior executives at the Halliburton corporate headquarters lol.

I haven't let this project die... I'm just finishing up finals week and then I graduate next week so after that I'll be a lot more active here

I have to say that sounds really intense but also like an incredible opportunity unk! And Halliburton sure is utilizing a lot of 'free' consulting power with this student competition haha!
