Yeah.. but tbf Alonso's Indy engine lasted 450 miles. His F1 engine is lucky to last 50

Pretty sure Alonso will be starting in the back for almost every race for the rest of the season.
Does anyone know if it's within the rulebook to switch engine suppliers mid-season?

I think Zak Brown has had it with Honda.
Also cool to see Blaney get his first win! Even sweeter that he beat Kyle Busch to do it

Well I suppose it's possible but I don't see Renault suddenly coming up with the performance necessary to fight for the championship. He's said if he stays in F1 he wants to do it with a team that can win. Could go back to Ferrari potentially but idk if they want to get rid of Kimi. I think Mercedes is happy with Bottas. Red Bull said they're keeping both drivers for next season. It's really limited. Unless Lewis decides he suddenly wants to join his best buddy Nico and retire - Lol.
I'm not sure if this was reported elsewhere, but the Indycar broadcasters here in the US phoned in Alonso during the race last weekend and asked him on-air if he would consider a full-time Indycar season if he couldn't secure an F1 ride for 2018. He said "why not". So... read into that what you want.

That had to be the most entertaining F1 race I've seen in several years. I know it was all due to circumstance and crashes and penalties, but IMO that doesn't take away from the excitement.

A few weeks back I watched my first F1 race of this season, Canadian GP. Had been missing the races due to school tests. Straight away I started looking at the current positions in the race and I was looking for Lewis, Vettel, Kimi, Nico.... Nico... Nico.... There is no Nico Rosberg! Then I realised and remembered that he had retired last year. I felt kind of stupid, bad memory.

What a race that was man! Brilliant! Vettel lost the plot a bit there as well!
Bottas is a robot 100%. The dude is emotionless!

I'm loving the whole Ham vs Vet rivalry.
Yeah, Vettel tried to pull a Nascar move there... I think he forgot he's in F1 lol. Cost him the win ultimately. That was cool for Lance Stroll though.
