[CONFIRMED] Gates Busy

No rush, but has any progress been made on this? Most of my hub gates are now stuck and I keep being penalised. Any chance you could reset my gates?

Yeah I know why it's happening, I just have to figure out how to fix it. Basically there's a bit of code that is run any time a plane takes off that fixes this issue, but it only works for quick flights. I have to figure out how to make that same bit of code run when a plane takes off that is assigned to a route. when a quick flight happens, the user pushes the start flight button which triggers this bit of code, but that doesn't happen during routes so there's no place for me to put this code to make sure it gets triggered each time a new flight starts.

I think I may have an idea of what I can do so that's what I'm working on right now.

If I can't fix it by tonight then I'll reset your gates. Thing is resetting them takes a while and it's just going to continue happening until I fix the issue :/

Well now I'm more confused because what I thought was the issue, apparently isn't the issue. From my testing, if my aircraft land with no available gate, and then take off again (from a route, not quick flights) everything works as it should. My gates don't get stuck in "unavailable" status like yours do. I'll have to keep testing it and see if I can replicate the issue...

Ryan since you reset your airline has this issue shown up again? I honestly have no idea what's causing it because for me everything is working fine.

My gates are becoming busy again.
Also on a side note, did gate leasing change? cause the pricing changed, normally i can get a discount for long term leases for shared gates but it doesn't.

Yea it has happend at my LGW slot again. I only currently have 4 slots so i thought that may reduce the risk but it seems not :/

I didn't change anything but I see what you mean. I'll put that on my list to fix. No idea why that stopped working.
