[IMPLEMENTED] Search field in fleet management
#1
Hello.

After having a long list of aircraft it would be good to have a search field by registration number on the fleet management page to find an aircraft quickly.

Thanks.

I suppose I can add this if people want it. It's not difficult. Maybe also a sort/filter by aircraft type?

I'm really sure either is needed at all but a filter by type is allot more useful then a registration search, i cant remember all of the registration numbers.

If I want to program a route I don't need to see the planes en-route. Maybe the fleet management page should have two queries. One for aircraft on ground and one for aircraft en-route. This way the list is shorter.

Well the fleet page isn't meant to be a "flights in progress" page. It's meant to display your entire fleet. I can add sorting and filtering to it but I don't want to change the functionality of the page

In Fleet Management the dryness could be fixed, for example
I make my A320 list in sequence by registration
PR-ARA
PR-ARB
PR-ARC
But 3 hours later
PR-ARB
PR-ARC
PR-ARA
Confused for a larger fleet
It could have filters by name, registration, hours, cycles and conditions ...

That's true. They seem to switch around, and I have no idea for the reason for that. Why does it happen?
What about having two sort options: By type (so all aircraft types are grouped together) or in alphabetical order? That second one would come in very useful for people who register their aircraft alphabetically, eg all A320s are G-MED(A) to (Z), all A330 are G-MEE(A) to (Z), etcetera.

I can just make the columns clickable so you can sort by column. I think I know why they switch around too, I can try fixing that today.

You can now filter by all aircraft, delivered aircraft, and aircraft on order as well as by aircraft type.

Soon I will also implement clickable columns so you can sort by cycles, age, etc.
