Well... kind of. As long as the flights don't go past midnight. For example, if I implemented that, routes with these departure times would work:
07:00, 12:00, 14:00, 18:00, 21:00 And it would go in order like that. But what if you had this: 10:00, 14:00, 00:15 It would try to schedule the 00:15 departure first, not the 10:00 departure. So I'm not sure what to do about that, other than maybe giving an option to "link" together different routes (or maybe the linking can be determined automatically by grouping routes by the assigned aircraft) and giving players the option to manually select an order of departure. But that may be more difficult than I'm imagining it.

If you put all the stops in one route, it works. However, when you separate them into several routes, it can't. A-B, B-A, A-C, C-A, A-D, D-A are routes that works great when putting them into one route, but when I split them, the a/c only flies A-C, C-A

What I would do is A-B B-A A-C, C-A A-D, D-A or whatever works in the system. If you really want the finer control, at least group them into round trips. What is your reason that you want to split into individual legs instead of a larger route schedule?

I've finally decided to start making routes again, I'm starting small with just my 767 routes. I didn't want anything screwed up too terribly so I waited till now.
Definitly like the improvements Unk.
Just made a new patch the to routes system that will hopefully fix the issue we have of routes flying on days they are not supposed to. Let me know how it goes and if you run into any new/different issues or if it seems to have solved it.
Keep in mind, lets say you have a route that is turned off today (wednesday) and is turned on tomorrow (thursday). It will NOT schedule the thursday flight until 12:00am thursday morning at the origin airport. So if my route departs at 5am thursday morning out of LHR, it will not show up in your scheduled flights until thursday 12am. London time.

I've made further bug fixes to the routes system concerning flights flying on days they are not scheduled on. Mainly applies to long haul international routes or routes that depart on one day and arrive on the following day.
Let me know of any issues if you notice them.

Part of a full schedule, last leg departs HKG after midnight, arrives at NGO the next morning (with 1 timezone change). Now just sitting at HKG, with the last leg not scheduled.
Yeah it's still not right, I had a route that flew sunday only, but it scheduled 1 leg of that route today (monday). And then didn't schedule the monday route because of it. I'll have to keep working on it.
If the route is domestic or at least completes all the flights in one day I don't think there's any issues. It's just when it crosses over to the next day when the system has troubles.

So am i right in saying now, thats if there is spare capacity after an initial flight, we can use the spare hours for a second flight, once it stays within the 24 hout time period? |
