Adding Aircraft
#11
Well this shows how much more efficient planes have gotten.

Added the VC10s and well the A320 series moves more people at less than half the fuel burned Smile

Done

At least there are much less aircraft than there are airports... if there's mistakes made it won't take me nearly as long to correct lol. I've been going through and entering all the timezones for airports...  Confused

Carde & Unk, I just looked at the list of aircraft, and the prices for the VC10(s) seemed somewhat wrong - adjusted for inflation since 1962, the Standard VC10 should be $45 million and the Super should be $48 million. Not exact, but should do well enough. At 4 million a piece, even with the insane fuel burn, the VC10 would still be a better option than a Dash 8...better to adjust for inflation.

That is done through and automate calculator by unknown within the game, hence you list the prices at the last date they where sold Smile

Eventually the game will adjust for inflation, but it will do it with a formula after the fact. I just haven't added that yet, so the ~$4m list price is relatively correct for the times.

Keep in mind you won't be able to buy "brand new" used aircraft like you could in CA, and quantities will be somewhat limited so it's not like someone could just grab 10 VC10's whenever they want (Sorry Carde... Tongue)

Oh, I see. Ok, disregard what I said then.

EDIT: Unk, I'm so sorry, I made a mistake again - could you please change the price of the 747-400 (not ER) to 234 million? It should be less than the ER...

For now cargo planes are unable to be added. I want to hold off on cargo until we get passenger planes up and working. Also need to decide what to do for airports where cargo data cannot be found, or potentially doesn't even exist.

Unk, I've done it again...the maximum load for the A330-200 should be 318, not whatever I put it as. Im sorry. I promise to do my best not to make mistakes any more...
