This is to be my roleplay for after the next reset, it will be expanded over time, but I thought I put it up already to give you all an idea where I am heading. I am really pleased with this one because for the first time I had a good working idea of how to combine my love for the old jets like the VC10 and Concorde and the modern day highly advanced and efficient planes like the A350 and A220. Also note my seating will be a lot more realistic this time around, no more HCC High Cost Carrier, while it is obscenely profitable, it is also very susceptible to competition and not all that realistic. 

Pictures still have to be added for the planes and well the route map will be an ever evolving thing of course once the reset is done. 

Anyhow I hope you all like it to and I love to hear your feedback.

It is tailored to your desires as a passenger whether you hope between cities in Europe or prefer to fly swiftly to your destinations or do it all you can customize your rewards as you see fit. You see each flight will help you collect points and it is entirely up to you how and when to employ those points. Perhaps you value access to our lounges more than a class upgrade, or perhaps you wish to simply obtain a discount on your next travel, or you might decide that instead spending them on yourself you donate them to a number of good causes around the world, each point represents a value which we will then donate to the cause(s) of your choice. 

Life is after all nothing, but a series of choices strung together and we believe this freedom should be entirely yours to keep. Of course if you truly do not wish to be bothered by the need of making such choices, you can choose to make us choose for you instead.

The shaylyn fleet:

Concorde:

It took mankind less than 70 years from believing we could not fly to flying people commercially at twice the speed of sound. A plane designed with pen, paper and a lot of smart brains she hailed in the supersonic age. Now she is back as a part of the Shaylyn vintage historical fleet, she takes to the skies once more as a statement to the skill of those who made her and to the spirit people had in those days of nothing being impossible. A plane that we all should be proud off for it is an achievement unrivaled to this very day almost 50 years after she first flew. 

Vickers Commercial 10, VC10 and Super VC10:

The last hurrah of the independent UK aircraft industry the Vickers VC10 was a beautiful jet liner designed to do one job really well and it did that job really well, but at the cost of efficiency. A plane that sadly did not get the love and respect she deserved until later on. People call her the original queen of the skies and even when the plane that now carries that title the Boeing 747 started to fly people preferred the older, but more comfortable VC10. She was both loved by pilots and passengers alike, but not so much by executives of the airlines. We at Shaylyn however love this jet and hence she flies as a part of our vintage historical fleet so that all can experience the glory days of the jet age. 

Airbus A350 family:

Technology is an ever evolving matter as long as we strive for it and the Airbus A350 is a clear example of this fact. A stunning plane to look at and to fly within, she offers unrivaled comfort and range connecting 2 sides of the globe as if you went to visit your friends a town over. All the while she is doing that she is prone to burn less fuel per person than you would have when driving even your small city car. She is truly a marvel of engineering and we at Shaylyn are proud to operate her to destinations across the globe.

Airbus A320neo family:

The Airbus A 320 family has been a part of the skies for many decades and airbus has shown time and time again how they can keep on innovating the design to ever increasing levels of efficiency and comfort. The neo family planes offer an amazing mix of efficiency and range making them as ideal for hopping around Europe as even flying across the worlds oceans a feet few had expected to see happening. We at Shaylyn love these planes and their flexible nature so expect to see them all over our network.

Airbus A220 family:

The formerly know Bombardier CS300 and CS100 planes are a amazingly efficient and state of the art regional jets. Taking advantage of all the developments made in recent times they offer a level of efficiency not seen in any other regional jet. Their size is also perfect to serve many a smaller airport in means that allows both great service and comfort while also remaining a profitable venture. We at Shaylyn have quickly fallen in love with these planes and their ability for us to reach far more people that would have otherwise not been possible. 

Airbus A380

The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger plane in the world, a true marvel of engineering. We love these giant birds as much as people who fly on them or fly them do. It is a truly unique experience and the comfort onboard these large planes is second to none according to the many people who have had their say on the matter. We fly these on the highest of demand routes around the globe where they are best suited to and we hope that everyone at least once has a chance to fly onboard our A380s at some point. 

Boeing 747-8

The Boeing 747-8 is the latest offering in the modern queen of the skies and many suspect it will be the last, but make no mistake here these planes offer a great level of comfort and proven reliability. They serve us really well on higher demand routes that are not quite suited for twin jets or the even larger A380. Overall expect these queens to take to the skies for some decades to come and we are proud to continue the heritage of the modern queen as much as we do the classic one. 

Boeing 787 dreamliner family.

The Boeing 787 dreamliner has had a bit of a rocky time no doubt about it, but in the end these planes are an amazing option for us to operate and for you to fly on. Highly efficient and comfortable they are ideal choices on lower demand routes that you still would like to see a daily service to. Expect them all over the network in the years to come and we hope they allow you to truly dream while you cruise through the skies in great comfort. 

Boeing 777-9

Still in development, but we have already put in our orders for this latest development of the great twin jet that is the 777. They will be a great companion to our A350 fleet we predict and by operating two different brand of aircraft we have additional flexibility in our fleet as well as the reduction in risk in case of groundings. Though we will have to see still how they will hold up in service and importantly how you our customers rate these planes we expect them to do great. 

CEO Sigrún Athray

Former RAF VC10 and Sentinel pilot Sigrún Athray founded Shaylyn as a company the day after she left the RAF. She went to her family for a financial loan and with that she started working on the foundation of what turn into the airline operating today. With a focus on the future and the planet she managed to string a balance between the things that mattered to her while operating in quite the controversial industry from an environmental point of view. She is know for her military style leadership, she respects opinions and talk backs at the appropriate times, but make no mistake whatever calls she will make are her own and will be executed upon. However she also known to enjoy life cause without proper winding down people tend not to function well in her experience.

Going to be simple, logo on the tail, name on the hull. Keep in mind Concorde has to be mostly white for cooling reasons.

I will need help no doubt, making liveries aint something I even managed to pull off once (did try, but well... )

Yeah I been writing in RP sims for 15 years so I am heavily character focused. My main playground been Star Trek and I wrote hundreds of characters most never used, but it is fun to come up with them.

As a bonus it gives a bit of a different taste on the RP here.

Life goes on even if there is a target on your back

Jaine moved up to Sigrún's side the moment she left the conference room, she had been the PA to Sigrún since day one and knew just how she wanted things handled. "Ma'am the team is ready to escort you to your meetings, also your EU contact called he wants to delay the meeting till tomorrow something about some issues in Brussels that need sorting out before he can hope over to here. Then there is also the complaint from BA regarding the slot conflict at Heathrow they decided to take it to court, but legal is handling it." 

Sigrún listened with care as they moved to the elevators  "Understood Jaine, tell legal that if BA wants to take it to court that I want them to write a letter to BA warning them that if this is the cause of action they want to take we will remove all previously made offers, cause really fuck those ass holes. Don't quote that last part. As for this useless EU fool not much we can do if you have a spot in my schedule arrange it, if not find an other one and tell him to make it in time for once instead of earning money for doing little of use." she spoke as they both got inside and Jaine pushed the parking garage button. 

"Of course ma'am I will check the schedule and arrange things as possible, as for legal I will inform them of your wishes. If that was all I will head off to take care of these and other matters."Jaine spoke in her quick, but clear manner she knew business had to be handled before they reached the parking garage.

"Thank you Jaine and be sure you leave the office at 5 and no cheating I keep track of everyone and you should know that best. Also invite that Chester of yours for dinner somewhere nice and put it on the company card." Sigrún stated with a smile as the doors opened revealing 3 land rovers and 6 men who looked very much like ex military. 

"Thank you very much ma'am." Jaine said genuienly thankful though she also blushed a bit, she had only been seeing Chester for a month and never knew her boss had any idea, she clearly did watch everyone. 

"Don't mention it, I would be lost without you. Never knew business was such a pain makes the RAF feel like vacation times." Sigrún added with a friendly nod before turning to the man directly in front of her.

Lucas waited carefully till the interaction was done before he spoke up, "Ma'am sorry for the extra security recent treats have been deemed as substantial by metro."

Sigrún looked grim, it was still a huge unknown why she had suddenly become a target, but all the reports indicated she very much was hence she had to step up security. As much as she respected the metro, her own background made her prefer people from the service. "I understand Lucas, just glad you could find some more people to expand the team, I trust you a lot more than anyone metro would send. First stop is Great minister house, after that we will head to the airport to check up on the lounge construction."

"Understood ma'am, we will get you there safely." Lucas said closing the door to the land rover which shut with a slightly more dull sound indicative of the armoring all 3 units had. With the door closed he made a hand signal and everyone mounted up before the convoy headed out.

Mike tried calling Ms. Athray but failed to do so.  He just left a voice message.

Mike Tyson:  Yo Athray!  First of all, I thank you for having a surname like that because if your surname was "Astray" it will sound "Athray" coming out of my lips and it wouldn't make any sense.  Athray is perfect.  Anyway, I noticed you got yourself some security problems?  I got some people here that can help if you want.  My man from St. Pete managed to sneak out some AK-47s and they be arriving at the port tomorrow.  I can lend you some muscle.  Hope ya all cool.  Peace!  Hit me back ok?

Jaine listened to the message shaking her head before pressing delete, she had no idea who the fool calling was however he didn't make sense and admitting to weapon's smuggling? Yeah no she was not going to risk involving the company or Sigrún herself with any of that. With that done she went back looking for a nice restaurant till she found one and decided to call them for a reservation, "Good evening I would like to make a reservation for two under the name Whitesails for 7pm tonight."

"Not a problem miss we have a table reserved for you, anything else we need to know?"

"No thank you that be all." and with that call ended she picked up her own phone to call Chester, "Hey love how about some diner tonight? Yes I made a reservation come pick me up at 6 will you.". With a smile she hung up that call before getting up from her desk walking to the adjacent closet where she kept a selection of clothing for herself.

Meanwhile somewhere else in London a Transport secretary was sweating bullets as he learned that Sigrún not only was willing to take just about any fight, but that she had all that she needed to win it. Sometimes old deals and traditions simply had to be moved aside perhaps in the name of the law.
