Two Different Flights Have the Same Flight Number

Noticed this, these two flights are different routes operating at the same time with different aircraft. Found it mildly amusing. It's CO49 for both in the attached picture.

There is an issue where the flight number will be displayed as being identical to one of your other flight numbers for the first 1-2 minutes of the flight. Then it will update to the 'actual' flight number. Still have no idea why that is happening.

As far as flight numbers being the same, that shouldn't happen because the system checks for a match when it creates the random flight numbers, and if there is a match with one of your already active flights then it re-runs the randomize function until there is no longer a match.
