OASIS Fleet
Boeing 747-8
The 747 is the most recognizable plane in the world, and for a good reason. OASIS' 747-8 is the flag ship aircraft, featuring all five service classes, and extra luxurious offerings. First and business class are able to access showers on-board, with first class being able to use them on all flights over three hours, and business class on all flights over six hours, except for OASIS Gold and Platinum members, who can use the showers on flights over three hours (while supplies last). First class is on the upper deck, and the four suites have a floor to themselves, let alone a private cabin! The 46 business class suites are located between the second set of doors and the nose. The 44 OASIS Premium seats have a self-serve bar and social area, and passengers can go there to grab a drink, a snack, or just hang out. ExtraComfort+ seats on this aircraft are located at the two Economy class bulkheads, and there are 20 of these seats, which have extra legroom and recline. Traveller class makes up the rest of the Jumbo Jet, at 191 seats. The 747 can be seen at all four main OASIS hubs, and can be seen at high-demand destinations, such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dubai.
Boeing 777-200LR
Nicknamed the "Worldliner", the 777-200LR is one of the longest range aircraft in the world, and OASIS takes full advantage of this! With flights to places such as Toronto, London, and Paris from Australia, OASIS doesn't let this aircraft's stunning capability go to waste! This aircraft features six first class suites, 24 Business class, 24 OASIS Premium, 18 ExtraComfort+, and 176 Traveller class seats. The Worldliner can be seen at OASIS' most far-flung destinations, such as Toronto and Dallas.
Airbus A340-500
The longest-range aircraft in current commercial service, the A340-500 is an older model, however it offers unparalleled ability for long-haul flying. OASIS has leased these aircraft from Etihad Airways, and offers three seating classes: 12 First class suites, offering head-height doors and lie-flat beds; 28 Business class seats, featuring flat beds; and 200 Traveller class seats, all with on-demand entertainment from OASIS' award-winning entertainment system. The A340 can be found at the farthest-flung OASIS destinations, such as New York.
OASIS plans to replace the A340-500 with the Airbus A350-900ULR in the shortest possible time frame, as the A350 provides greater passenger comfort and fuel efficiency. The A350 also allows for nonstop flights from Sydney to London, which will be a first for any airline. OASIS also plans on using the A350 ULR for routes from Sydney to Paris, Frankfurt, and Moscow, as well as to extend the scope of North American flights to include cities such as Washington DC, Boston, and Newark.
Boeing 787-8
The Boeing 787-8, otherwise known as the Dreamliner, is a luxurious aircraft that OASIS features prominently on short-haul and low-demand routes. This aircraft will play an instrumental role in having a very large worldwide route network, as it will provide OASIS with a lower capaicity aircraft with a long range to operate routes such as Sydney-Calcutta. The smallest variant of the Dreamliner features four classes: 18 OASIS Business, 28 OASIS Premium, 48 ExtraComfort+, and 88 Traveller seats. The 787-8 can be seen at low-demand long-haul routes, such as Islamabad, or high-demand short-haul routes, such as Makassar.
Boeing 757-200
The Boeing 757-200 is an older aircraft model, however, it is extremely useful for OASIS' lower-demand medium-haul routes, such as Sydney to Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The 757-200 features 16 Business class seats, 45 ExtraComfort+ seats, and 108 Traveller class seats. Since these aircraft are leased from United airlines (further examples may be purchased), they do not feature the closed suites in business class, and there is slightly lower legroom in Traveller and ExtraComfort+. However, once OASIS purchases some of these aircraft, this problem will be remedied. The 757 can be seen at high-demand short-haul destinations such as Sydney to Perth, or lower demand medium haul destinations, such as Yogyakarta.
Boeing 737-800
The Boeing 737-800 is one of the most comfortable short-haul aircraft, and is employed on a variety of domestic routes for the moment, although will be introduced on international runs shortly. The 737-800 features 12 OASIS Premium seats, 18 ExtraComfort+ seats, and 114 Traveller seats. OASIS also operates the Boeing 737 MAX 8, which is a more modern version of the aircraft, configured in the same way, that is quieter and has a longer range. The 737-800 is the workhorse of the short-haul fleet, and operates half of the flights between Sydney and Brisbane and Brisbane and Melbourne. The -800 also serves many short-haul routes, such as Perth to Port Hedland, and Sydney to Adelaide.
OASIS is currently leasing one Boeing 737-800 from Great British Air on a temporary schedule, while the airline waits for the ability to lease more of its own aircraft. The leased aircraft is currently configured in the standard 737-800 configuration, and is operated between Perth/Port Hedland and Perth/Yogyakarta.
Airbus A320-200
The A320-200 was recently leased from Olympus Airways to temporarily increase capacity on high-demand domestic routes. It will be returned shortly, once a Boeing 737 MAX 8 can be acquired to replace it. Currently, the A320 flies from Sydney to Melbourne 4 times per day. It has been configured with OASIS' industry-leading seats, including 12 OASIS Premium seats, 36 ExtraComfort+ seats, including but not limited to Bulkheads and Exit rows, and 78 Traveller seats. All seats feature OASIS' industry-leading legroom and seat width. The A320 is equipped with the OASIS On-Demand system for your enjoyment.
Boeing 737-700
The Boeing 737-700, or "Baby Boeing", as many affectionately call it, is one of the regional workhorses in the OASIS fleet. The 737-700 offers three classes of service. There are 8 OASIS Premium seats, with the extra-special 42 inches of legroom. Then, there are 12 ExtraComfort+ seats, made up of the exit row and the bulkhead row. Finally, there are 82 Traveller class seats. All seats feature OASIS On-Demand, and industry-leading space and comfort. OASIS operates this pint-sized Boeing on smaller-demand routes, such as Sydney-Lae, and at lower-demand times on high-demand routes, such as Sydney to Perth.
Embraer ERJ-140
This aircraft is the smallest currently in the OASIS fleet, and offers unparalleled regional comfort. This aircraft has 6 ExtraComfort+ seats and 35 Traveller class seats. Overhead TV screens show movies and TV shows on flights over 40 minutes, and a moving map is available on shorter flights. The ERJ-140 can be seen on the lower-demand short routes, such as Sydney to Launceston and Sydney to Ayers Rock.
