ALYX is a brand new carrier based in Toronto, founded by the Kuramochi sisters it aims to offer a great quality package for both business and holiday travel with an initial focus on the North American market.

The fleet

Airbus A350-900ULR

The Airbus A350-900ULR offers the greatest efficiency and range of widebody jets on the market today and will be at the core of the long haul operational fleet from ALYX. 3 Of the type where initially acquired through a third party lessor, but an agreement has been signed with Airbus for an other 10 planes of the type.

Of course the usual features of the ALYX cabin can be found, but due to the long duration of the flights larger seats have been installed in all classes to provide better levels of comfort throughout the flight. Also these planes will be the first to offer a first class experience with 6 suites installed onboard for the ultimate experience of air travel.

Of course a little Canadian pride cannot be missed when starting an Canadian airline and hence we lease a number of Airbus A220-300 jets leased directly from airbus. Capable of dealing with the cold and being amongst the most modern and efficient jets in the skies they are bound to offer a great experience to all those whom travel onboard them.

Onboard one will find comfortable seating and industry leading IFE and other features such as charging ports for all seats and free unlimited WIFI access for all classes. We have also teamed up with start chefs to create our menus to ensure your flight will be as comfortable as it can be.

Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was the first of the new generation of composite and efficient wide bodies jets for the coming future. They offer an amazing mix between performance, capacity, efficiency and comfort and that means they make for a great addition to the ALYX fleet. Outfitted with our standard long haul cabin one can be assured of a comfortable, entertaining and well catered for flight. These planes are named the dreamliner after all and we will do our very best to make them dream worthy in your eyes.

Vickers-Armstrongs BAC Super VC10

As a part of our dedication to history as much as the preservation of our future we maintain some classic airliners in operational duty. One of these is a Vickers-Armstrongs BAC super VC10 more commonly known as the Vickers VC10 or just the VC10. These 4 engined jets where made to serve the need for jets capable of dealing with rough, hot and high airports mainly found in places like Africa. After their commercial service they spend a long career with the RAF which recently has decided to retire them. We managed to struck a deal for their best hulls and parts and this example is the first of 2 (one being a standard currently undergoing renovation) we plan to keep in service and will fly twice daily from Toronto to Vancouver.

Of course we did update the interiors to modern standards, though the design has been kept more in style of when these jets actually flew comercially and hence IFE units, plugs and more are all cleverly hidden away until access is desired. Like all our planes they come equipment with onboard unlimited free wifi.

The little brother of the super VC10 the standard VC is the second of our historical fleet and it flies twice daily to Las Vegas, so if you fancy a trip to the city of sin and entertainment in style, look for the VC10 flights. Of course like the super the interior is fully updated.


The Kuramochi sisters

Equal owners and operators of ALYX the Kuramochi twins are known as the twin dragons of Canada for their fierce nature in just about all their dealings. On the left one finds Chiyeko Kuramochi, a graduate with distinction from university of Toronto in law and part of the GPLLM program. On the right one finds Takara Kuramochi a former RCAF C-17 pilot.

They are known to be fierce and protective and unlike many twins they tend to let the person speak who has the better answer from their personal experiences being apart for quite some time when Chiyeko spend her time in the books and Takara spend her time in the skies. A low tolerance for bull crap as they name is common with them both preferring to get to the point of matters ideally as directly as possible. That said in their own ways they can be more diplomatic at times when the situation demands it.

As the business is small they pretty much equally share all the heads at the top of the company, though it is clear Chiyeko does a bit more on the business side and Takara is more focused on the people. ]]> ALYX

The ATR 72-500 is the latest investment from Nordic. A total of eight 72-500s, operating under Nordic Regional, fly to a number of domestic and international destinations throughout Scandinavia and Northern Europe.

Nordic goes long-haul!

After some very successful first months of operations, Nordic is pleased to announce the airline's entry into the long haul market! Earlier today, Nordic has secured a lease agreement with the Air Lease Corporation for a long-term lease of three brand new Airbus A350-900s, the first of which is scheduled to be delivered in August 22nd, 2019. Our new A350-900s will seat up to 300 passengers in three cabin classes: Our signature Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class. These new aircraft will feature free of charge on-board Wi-Fi, as well as personal in-flight entertainment screens for all passengers.

The first destination to be served by our A350-900 is Seoul! Leisure and business travelers can now fly faster and easier from Seoul to Europe by flying the northern route!

United is based in Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Our history comes from an airline that likes to bring people together and wants to make the whole world United. We have a hub in Denver International Airport (DEN) too.

Economy is our most basic cabin class, but we continue to offer world winning amenities in economy, including snacks, and drinks for free on all flights. Economy becomes almost like business class on other airlines when you fly one of our long haul flights, and we hope that you'll join us for those flights. 

Economy Plus:
Economy Plus is our step between Economy and Polaris Business. Besides the seat upgrades, you get even more amenities compared with economy. Often we treat this as an even better business class and sometimes there's glasses involved! 

Polaris Business: 
Polaris Business is our signature business class that can't be found on any other airline. The seats are made up of a fantastic leather. You receive a fantastic screen to watch only the best in flight entertainment on every flight. The service we provide feels like a first class compared to other airlines and it is impossible to beat. 

World First:
 World First is our signature first class which can be found on select domestic flights and most international flights (Flight not Operated by A320Neo). The seats are top in their class and have the highest quality display in the market. The service that is received in World First is unmatched by any other airline. 

All:
All of our aircraft offer WiFi which can be found for an affordable 5-15$ depending on your flight. The aircraft also offers a screen at every single seat, something you don't see everyday. On our Airbus 380-800, we offer an onboard bar where Polaris and World First passengers can relax. These amenities set us apart from all of the other carriers.

They will take you from Tel Aviv to Europe and India in 4 to 5 hours all while you can enjoy our class leading service onboard.


Boeing 777-200:

An ex El Al Boeing 777-200 has been acquired by Shaylyn and send to Boeing in Seattle for a full overhaul which included our state of the art interior. It operates our daily service to Seoul, South Korea, on this flight you can as always enjoy our class leading service while being in great comfort onboard one of the industries well proven wide bodies.

Chiyeko Kuramochi started out her career as a USAF F16 and later F22 pilot for 12 years combined. Throughout her service she spend her earnings wise investing them into the stock markets wisely picking her choices which saw her net worth increasing at a steady pace. When she left her service she decided to move back to the land her father used to call home, Israel. A citizenship holder of both nations she quickly settled down and made some more investments before the urge to get back into the skies became to great once more. So she decided to use her investments as a loan guarantee and start up the most risky of business ventures, an airline in the form of Shaylyn named after her grand mother.

She is known as a straight talker and actor who certainly enjoys being free from the more strict military regimes as is witnessed by her choice of clothing and general easy going behavior. Those who work under her nearly always partly concealed eyes however know that while she enjoys and gives people plenty of freedom it is all under the sole condition that the job gets done to perfection. One particular person shared this simple statement: "If you want to wear sandals, shorts and a Hawaiian shirt to work 5 days a week you can, but you will only be working if you do your job. I seen plenty of people being send packing for thinking taking it easy applied to all aspects of working for Shaylyn."

Being a small airline still Chiyeko is clearly taking the advantage and is often found at the helm of one of the airlines planes. In her own words: "I like to fly, I thought I could do without, but I clearly could not and it would be a right old shame to own an airline and not to fly. Sure all the qualifications are not cheap, but I can pay for those out of pocket. The only downside is that passengers do not appreciate a aileron roll as much as I would, but then ensuring the flight is as smooth as possible is a challenge on it's own."

When not in the cockpit staff reports she spends a lot of time as their HQ located in one of many nondescript office buildings in Tel Aviv where she spends most of her day handling what needs to be done to keep a fledgling airline in operation. ]]> [Image: 3vmlPLm.png]

The largest variant of the 787, the -10 is an excellent plane for routes to Asia that require just a bit more capacity. The Boeing 787 is a cutting-edge airliner made with carbon fiber and other composites, and it has proven itself as an excellent addition to the OASYS fleet. Despite operating only six routes, the largest variant, the -10 provides an excellent passenger experience, outfitted with all four classes of OASYS service.

Boeing 787-8

The Boeing 787-8 is the smallest member of the Dreamliner family, but it still does a great job of being one of the most comfortable planes in the sky. The 787-8 can be seen flying from our Sydney hub to a variety of short and long-haul destinations, including the Gold Coast, Perth, Mexico City, Tokyo, Singapore, and more. You’ll often see a 787-8 as the second daily flight on a route in addition to a larger 787 or a 747, as they work perfectly to fill in any extra demand. The -8 also works excellently on lower demand, point-to-point routes such as Sydney to Brunei, where a larger plane would not be able to offer as many frequencies per week. The 787-8 comes armed with three classes of service: Business, Premium, and Economy.

OASYS will soon be taking delivery of Airbus’ newest technological marvel, the A350-900ULR. This aircraft couples comfort with an extremely long range. This aircraft will feature all four marvelous classes of service, from First all the way to Economy. All passengers will enjoy bars and social areas to relax and hang out during the longest of flights in the world, including the longest flight in the world, from Sydney to London, flight OJ 1. The A350 will only operate the longest routes at OASYS, such as Sydney to New York, Brisbane to Toronto, and Sydney to Helsinki.


Boeing 737-900ER / MAX 9

The Boeing 737 is the most popular jet airliner in the world, with over 10,000 planes delivered since its introduction in 1968. OASYS has operated many 737 variants, but the -900ER is the highest-capacity operated to date. This stretched variant can seat up to 160 passengers in OASYS’ configuration, featuring Premium and Economy classes. The -900ER will eventually be replaced by the 737 MAX 9, an updated variant with newer technology, better fuel efficiency, and greater comfort, with the last -900ER slated to leave the fleet in 2026.

The 737-800 is the most popular modern 737 variant, and for good reason. This plane has a superb range and a seating capacity that is perfect for many routes. OASYS is slowly replacing the 737-800 with the 737 MAX 8, and the last -800 will likely leave the fleet in 2020. The MAX 8 features updated avionics, engines, and cabins, and truly represents the future of narrow-body jet airliners.

Boeing 737-700 / MAX 7

The 737-700 is a popular airliner, but the biggest boon to its success is a perfect combination of range and capacity. Because of this, the 737-700 can be used on almost any route, especially longer, transcontinental routes. OASYS uses the -700 heavily out of Perth for this very reason. The 737-700 is being retired in favor of the updated 737 MAX 7, and will leave the fleet by 2021.

The smallest variant of the popular 737, the -600 isn’t so popular, but we can’t figure out why! It’s excellent range and runway capacities provide an incredible level of flexibility. The -600 is in use from all four of our hubs - the only aircraft to have this prestigious role. The -600 will be replaced by the 737 MAX 7 by 2025.

Boeing 737-700ER

The Boeing 737-700ER is a stunning plane, more capable than any other narrow-body jet. Based of Boeing’s popular BBJ1, the -700ER features an extended range of over 5,700 nautical miles, and is able to operate dozens of OASYS routes that would not be possible with a larger aircraft, such as a 787. The -700ER features Business class, Premium and Economy classes, as well as personal in-flight entertainment at every seat. This aircraft can be seen operating from Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. A special note about this aircraft is that it operates OASYS’ around-the-world service from Sydney to Sydney, operated once a week.

Bombardier CRJ-1000

The CRJ-1000 is the largest variant of the popular Bombardier CRJ regional jet, used by airlines around the globe. While the CRJ-1000 is actually only a bit smaller than a 737-600, at 81 seats compared to 97 on the 737, it has a lovely 2-2 layout in economy and 1-2 in premium economy, which means no middle seats! The CRJ-1000 is an excellent aircraft for higher demand regional routes, and is great for adding capacity in off-peak times. Older aircraft will be phased out starting in 2023, with the replacement being the Mitsubishi MRJ-90. The last CRJ-1000 will leave the fleet in 2027.

Bombardier CRJ-900

The CRJ-900 slots in between the CRJ-700 and the CRJ-1000, perfect for all those mid-sized regional routes out there. The -900 also features the comfortable cabin of the -1000 and -700, and newer aircraft are being refitted with newer cabin elements including redesigned lavatories, larger overhead bins and mood lighting. Older aircraft will be phased out starting in 2021, being replaced by the Mitsubishi MRJ-90. The last CRJ-900 will leave the fleet in 2023.

Bombardier CRJ-700

The CRJ-700 is the smallest variant of CRJ family that OASYS operates. This aircraft operates the bulk of OASYS regional routes out of Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. The -700 provides an excellent range for the longer routes to destinations such as Vanuatu and Nauru, but also the small size and great runway capability for most other destinations.

Twin Otter

The Viking Air DHC-6-400 Twin Otter is a thoroughly capable turboprop airliner, and operates certain routes that are too small to be served by even the CRJ. The Twin Otter only operates out of the Darwin hub, and operates selected regional flights. The Twin Otter replaced the Beechcraft 1900D in 2017, after 22 years of Beechcraft service came to a close. The Twin Otter may be phased out in the near future in favor of the CRJ family or a potential codeshare agreement with another carrier, although none of those plans have yet come to fruition. Twin Otter aircraft are the only aircraft in the fleet to not feature any inflight entertainment, but since they operate such short routes, looking out the window at our beautiful country should suffice!

Boeing 737 MAX 10




Starting in 2022, OASYS will be taking delivery of the largest variant of the Boeing 737, the MAX 10. This aircraft will provide industry-leading service on some of our most popular routes, such as Sydney to Melbourne and Brisbane. Additionally, select MAX 10s will be equipped with OASYS Business class for longer flights such as Perth to Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. At OASYS, we are sincerely looking forward to this new technological marvel.


Mitsubishi MRJ-70 and MRJ-90


OASYS will begin taking delivery of the first of many Mitsubishi MRJ-90s in 2021, and the first of the MRJ-70s in 2024. A brand-new regional jet, the MRJ offers a range of cutting-edge technology, such as geared turbofan jet engines, and an incredibly roomy and comfortable seating configuration. The MRJ will be used to replace the Bombardier CRJ family of aircraft, and will feature in-flight entertainment in all classes, as well as numerous other passenger-friendly improvements.

OASYS currently provides a wide variety of charter services for customers in the Oceania region. OASYS is certified as a wet-lease provider, and we also operate a large charter network. Our current charter fleet consists of five aircraft types: the Airbus A300-600R, the Boeing 777-200ER, the Boeing 737-700ER the Fairchild-Dornier 328JET and the Boeing 757-300. The A300 will be retired this year and replaced by the Boeing 787-8 on charter services, so you’ll be able to travel in even more comfort. OASYS’ next charter aircraft is the Boeing 757-300, which provides a large seating capacity and is a relatively new aircraft, with the oldest airframe in the fleet clocking in at just under 19 years old! The 757s will be replaced by the 737 MAX 8 and MAX 10 in 2023, which will allow for lower prices, greater efficiency, and even more comfort. The 777-200ER fleet offers flat beds in First and Business classes, and unparalleled levels of comfort compared to most charter aircraft. The 777s are used on the highest-demand charter routes, and you can wet-lease them for some of the largest groups. The 777 can also operate to most destinations in the world non-stop, and it can reach anywhere you’d please with only a single stop en-route (runway permitting). The 777s will be retired close to 2022, when they will be replaced, most likely, with the Boeing 787-9. The 328JET is a newer regional jet, but was retired by OASYS for being too small. However, it is absolutely ideal for charter use, and OASYS takes full advantage of that. It’ll be retired around 2030, and the replacement is still yet to be known. The final member of the charter fleet is the Boeing 737-700ER. This aircraft is absolutely perfect for charters for sports teams, politicians, and other charters. The 737-700ER is configured with 48 OASYS Premium seats. OASYS’ charter fleet is available for wet-lease at any time, and also operates a variety of scheduled charter services, most operating between once and four times per month, to various destinations that may or may not see scheduled OASYS service. All charter flights that are not full and are not requested to be left empty will be sold on the OASYS website to passengers looking to fly to a charter destination. We looked and looked for a good business class seat, but we came up blank. So, we just made our own! We started with the cutting-edge Apex Suite - so luxurious already that most airlines don’t use it. Then, we did something mind-boggling - we added doors! That’s right - this is Business class, not First class, and we have doors! Add in our minibar compartment, huge TV, and multi-course meals, and you’ve got the best business class ever!


Premium Economy


OASYS Premium Economy is one of the most spacious premium economy products available when compared to most airlines! A step up from Economy, Premium Economy offers you extra legroom at 42” of seat pitch, as well as additional seat width and amenities. Premium economy passengers are served multi-course meals on long-haul flights, and are offered enhanced amenity kits, bedding, and more!

When most people consider flying, they think of flying economy as akin to torture. And on most other airlines, it is. However, on OASYS, we haven’t adopted the trend of uncomfortable slimline seats, limited legroom and recline, or a lack of seatback entertainment. OASYS Economy offers a industry-leading seat pitch of 34 inches, and even more legroom is available in select exit row and bulkhead seats at no additional charge! OASYS Economy seats also include additional seat width when compared to other airlines, thanks to having fewer seats per row on Boeing 787 aircraft than the industry average, and redesigned aisles and armrests that allow for more room for you.


In-Flight Entertainment


OASYS’ in-flight entertainment system, OASYS OnBoard, features enough content that you could fly OASYS for a month straight and not run out of things to watch, listen to, interact with, or otherwise enjoy. OASYS History


OASYS was founded in 1947 with World War II surplus DC-3s, and specialized in operating international flights, sometimes being the only air service that an airport would see. With the aviation industry booming in Australia and Oceania, the airline introduced the Canadair North Star and the Douglas DC-6 in 1950 to start even more long routes, including the first route for OASYS to the US - to Honolulu. OASYS also started flights to Japan and Hong Kong. In 1954, OASYS ordered the DC-7, but it didn’t last long in the fleet, as OASYS entered the Jet age in 1960 with the Douglas DC-8-10. Soon, however, it was discovered that the 707 had more range and lower operating costs, so the 707-320B was ordered, and soon the first routes to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver were started. The 707 also began the first “Kangaroo” route, operating from Sydney to London via Singapore, Delhi, Bahrain, and Rome. Regional airliners also started to become an item at OASYS in 1966, with the introduction of the first BAC One-Eleven, followed by the DC-9 family. OASYS would operate the DC-9-10, DC-9-20, and DC-9-30 aircraft, with the last DC-9 being retired in 2004. The DC-9s were replaced by the Boeing 737 Classic series, which is also when regional operations really began to take off. The Fokker F27 and the Handley Page Jetstream were introduced in 1969 and 1970, respectively, and each served for many years. The F27 was eventually replaced by the F50 and the Jetstream was replaced with the Beechcraft 1900D. The 1970s, however, where when the age of the jumbo jet really took off. OASYS placed an order for the Boeing 747-100 in 1969, and deliveries started in 1972. The 747-100 enabled flights to New York with just one stop in Honolulu, and allowed for additional capacity on popular routes such as Tokyo. The long-range 747SP was introduced in 1978, and enabled direct flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as one-stop flights to London and Paris. The larger 747-300 was selected for the fleet in 1984, and operated on the most popular routes. The 747-100 and 747-300 were finally replaced by the 747-400 starting in 1996, when the first 747-100 was retired. The 747-400ER was also introduced in 2005. The 747SP was not retired until 2015, when it was replaced by the 747-8. The -8 also replaced the -400s and the -400ERs. In 1986, OASYS ordered its first Airbus aircraft, the A310, which remained in the fleet until early 2018, when it was replaced by the 787. The A300-600R was also operated in small numbers, and was also replaced at the same time as the A310 (the final A310 and A300 flights landed at the same time). Another niche aircraft ordered by OASYS was the 757. OASYS ordered both the -200 and the -300. The -200 was retired in 2018, and the -300 will be retired by 2023, but is currently only in-fleet for charter use. The Boeing 777-200ER was introduced in 1998, and was the only 777 to be in the fleet, having been retired and sold in 2016. In 1998, the same year as the Fokker F50 was introduced, the Dornier 328JET was added into the fleet for regional services from Perth. The F50 and the 328JET were both replaced by the CRJ family, which was inducted into the fleet in early 2006. However, the Fokker and the Dornier remained in service until 2015 and 2017, respectively. The Beechcraft was also retired in 2017, having been replaced by the Twin Otter. The 737 classics were replaced by the 737 NG, which were introduced in 2002. The Boeing 787-8 is the smallest member of the Dreamliner family, but it still does a great job of being one of the most comfortable planes in the sky. The 787-8 can be seen flying from our Sydney hub to a variety of short and long-haul destinations, including the Gold Coast, Perth, Mexico City, Tokyo, Singapore, and more. You’ll often see a 787-8 as the second daily flight on a route in addition to a larger 787 or a 747, as they work perfectly to fill in any extra demand. The -8 also works excellently on lower demand, point-to-point routes such as Sydney to Brunei, where a larger plane would not be able to offer as many frequencies per week. The 787-8 comes armed with three classes of service: Business, Premium, and Economy.

OASYS will soon be taking delivery of Airbus’ newest technological marvel, the A350-900ULR. This aircraft couples comfort with an extremely long range. This aircraft will feature all four marvelous classes of service, from First all the way to Economy. All passengers will enjoy bars and social areas to relax and hang out during the longest of flights in the world, including the longest flight in the world, from Sydney to London, flight OJ 1. The A350 will only operate the longest routes at OASYS, such as Sydney to New York, Brisbane to Toronto, and Sydney to Helsinki.

The Boeing 737 is the most popular jet airliner in the world, with over 10,000 planes delivered since its introduction in 1968. OASYS has operated many 737 variants, but the -900ER is the highest-capacity operated to date. This stretched variant can seat up to 160 passengers in OASYS’ configuration, featuring Premium and Economy classes. The -900ER will eventually be replaced by the 737 MAX 9, an updated variant with newer technology, better fuel efficiency, and greater comfort, with the last -900ER slated to leave the fleet in 2026.

The 737-800 is the most popular modern 737 variant, and for good reason. This plane has a superb range and a seating capacity that is perfect for many routes. OASYS is slowly replacing the 737-800 with the 737 MAX 8, and the last -800 will likely leave the fleet in 2020. The MAX 8 features updated avionics, engines, and cabins, and truly represents the future of narrow-body jet airliners.

The 737-700 is a popular airliner, but the biggest boon to its success is a perfect combination of range and capacity. Because of this, the 737-700 can be used on almost any route, especially longer, transcontinental routes. OASYS uses the -700 heavily out of Perth for this very reason. The 737-700 is being retired in favor of the updated 737 MAX 7, and will leave the fleet by 2021.

The -600 is in use from all four of our hubs - the only aircraft to have this prestigious role. The -600 will be replaced by the 737 MAX 7 by 2025.

The Boeing 737-700ER is a stunning plane, more capable than any other narrow-body jet. Based of Boeing’s popular BBJ1, the -700ER features an extended range of over 5,700 nautical miles, and is able to operate dozens of OASYS routes that would not be possible with a larger aircraft, such as a 787. The -700ER features Business class, Premium and Economy classes, as well as personal in-flight entertainment at every seat. This aircraft can be seen operating from Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. A special note about this aircraft is that it operates OASYS’ around-the-world service from Sydney to Sydney, operated once a week.

The CRJ-1000 is the largest variant of the popular Bombardier CRJ regional jet, used by airlines around the globe. While the CRJ-1000 is actually only a bit smaller than a 737-600, at 81 seats compared to 97 on the 737, it has a lovely 2-2 layout in economy and 1-2 in premium economy, which means no middle seats! The CRJ-1000 is an excellent aircraft for higher demand regional routes, and is great for adding capacity in off-peak times. Older aircraft will be phased out starting in 2023, with the replacement being the Mitsubishi MRJ-90. The last CRJ-1000 will leave the fleet in 2027.

The 777s are used on the highest-demand charter routes, and you can wet-lease them for some of the largest groups. The 777 can also operate to most destinations in the world non-stop, and it can reach anywhere you’d please with only a single stop en-route (runway permitting). The 777s will be retired close to 2022, when they will be replaced, most likely, with the Boeing 787-9. The 328JET is a newer regional jet, but was retired by OASYS for being too small. However, it is absolutely ideal for charter use, and OASYS takes full advantage of that. It’ll be retired around 2030, and the replacement is still yet to be known. The final member of the charter fleet is the Boeing 737-700ER. This aircraft is absolutely perfect for charters for sports teams, politicians, and other charters. The 737-700ER is configured with 48 OASYS Premium seats. OASYS’ charter fleet is available for wet-lease at any time, and also operates a variety of scheduled charter services, most operating between once and four times per month, to various destinations that may or may not see scheduled OASYS service. All charter flights that are not full and are not requested to be left empty will be sold on the OASYS website to passengers looking to fly to a charter destination. OASYS First class ensures that you have the best flight absolutely possible on-board. OASYS utilizes the Thompson GlobalSuite originally designed by Thompson Aerospace in co-operation with Global Airways, and modified by leading Australian architects and designers. The suites are laid out in a 1-1-1 configuration on the 787, and a 1-1 configuration on the upper deck of the 747. These suites feature floor-to-ceiling walls and electric sliding doors, as well as two minibars containing snacks and drinks. First class suites also feature large TV screens, as well as the ability to have two people dine in one suite. Middle suites on the 787 feature virtual windows so passengers can still see a high-definition view of the outside world without being in a window suite. First class passengers can dine whenever they like, so you can have one meal or three! The entire menu is available throughout the entire flight, so you can eat what you want when you want. Steak with a bowl of oatmeal on the side? Go ahead! Want some midnight munchies? Indulge yourself! OASYS First is the ultimate flying experience.


Business Class


We looked and looked for a good business class seat, but we came up blank. So, we just made our own! We started with the cutting-edge Apex Suite - so luxurious already that most airlines don’t use it. Then, we did something mind-boggling - we added doors! That’s right - this is Business class, not First class, and we have doors! Add in our minibar compartment, huge TV, and multi-course meals, and you’ve got the best business class ever!


Premium Economy


OASYS Premium Economy is one of the most spacious premium economy products available when compared to most airlines! A step up from Economy, Premium Economy offers you extra legroom at 42” of seat pitch, as well as additional seat width and amenities. Premium economy passengers are served multi-course meals on long-haul flights, and are offered enhanced amenity kits, bedding, and more!


Economy


When most people consider flying, they think of flying economy as akin to torture. And on most other airlines, it is. However, on OASYS, we haven’t adopted the trend of uncomfortable slimline seats, limited legroom and recline, or a lack of seatback entertainment. OASYS Economy offers a industry-leading seat pitch of 34 inches, and even more legroom is available in select exit row and bulkhead seats at no additional charge! OASYS Economy seats also include additional seat width when compared to other airlines, thanks to having fewer seats per row on Boeing 787 aircraft than the industry average, and redesigned aisles and armrests that allow for more room for you.


In-Flight Entertainment


OASYS’ in-flight entertainment system, OASYS OnBoard, features enough content that you could fly OASYS for a month straight and not run out of things to watch, listen to, interact with, or otherwise enjoy. Our entertainment selection includes an enormous variety of movies, TV shows, games, music, e-books, audiobooks, information, and more! There is something for everyone, from documentaries to dramas, sci-fi to mystery, and moving maps to breaking news. OASYS also offers inflight WiFi, available at a low cost to Economy, Premium Economy, and Business class passengers, and complimentary for those flying in First Class. All passengers without complimentary WiFi receive 10 megabytes of free internet access, and members of our frequent flyer program, Hemisphere Miles, receive 15 megabytes. OASYS also offers live satellite TV on select long-haul aircraft, and cellular service is available on most long-distance flights.


OASYS Network

Routes that are not served by the OASYS fleet are served by Regional Express Airlines through a codeshare agreement. The OASYS network covers routes as small as Nauru and as large as Singapore and Tokyo. Out of our hubs at Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Darwin, we operate over 250 routes to a multitude of countries around the world.

OASYS History


OASYS was founded in 1947 with World War II surplus DC-3s, and specialized in operating international flights, sometimes being the only air service that an airport would see. With the aviation industry booming in Australia and Oceania, the airline introduced the Canadair North Star and the Douglas DC-6 in 1950 to start even more long routes, including the first route for OASYS to the US - to Honolulu. OASYS also started flights to Japan and Hong Kong. In 1954, OASYS ordered the DC-7, but it didn’t last long in the fleet, as OASYS entered the Jet age in 1960 with the Douglas DC-8-10. Soon, however, it was discovered that the 707 had more range and lower operating costs, so the 707-320B was ordered, and soon the first routes to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver were started. The 707 also began the first “Kangaroo” route, operating from Sydney to London via Singapore, Delhi, Bahrain, and Rome. Regional airliners also started to become an item at OASYS in 1966, with the introduction of the first BAC One-Eleven, followed by the DC-9 family. OASYS would operate the DC-9-10, DC-9-20, and DC-9-30 aircraft, with the last DC-9 being retired in 2004. The DC-9s were replaced by the Boeing 737 Classic series, which is also when regional operations really began to take off. The Fokker F27 and the Handley Page Jetstream were introduced in 1969 and 1970, respectively, and each served for many years. The F27 was eventually replaced by the F50 and the Jetstream was replaced with the Beechcraft 1900D. The 1970s, however, where when the age of the jumbo jet really took off. OASYS placed an order for the Boeing 747-100 in 1969, and deliveries started in 1972. The 747-100 enabled flights to New York with just one stop in Honolulu, and allowed for additional capacity on popular routes such as Tokyo. The long-range 747SP was introduced in 1978, and enabled direct flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as one-stop flights to London and Paris. The larger 747-300 was selected for the fleet in 1984, and operated on the most popular routes. The 747-100 and 747-300 were finally replaced by the 747-400 starting in 1996, when the first 747-100 was retired. The 747-400ER was also introduced in 2005. The 747SP was not retired until 2015, when it was replaced by the 747-8. The -8 also replaced the -400s and the -400ERs. In 1986, OASYS ordered its first Airbus aircraft, the A310, which remained in the fleet until early 2018, when it was replaced by the 787. The A300-600R was also operated in small numbers, and was also replaced at the same time as the A310 (the final A310 and A300 flights landed at the same time). Another niche aircraft ordered by OASYS was the 757. OASYS ordered both the -200 and the -300. The -200 was retired in 2018, and the -300 will be retired by 2023, but is currently only in-fleet for charter use. The Boeing 777-200ER was introduced in 1998, and was the only 777 to be in the fleet, having been retired and sold in 2016. In 1998, the same year as the Fokker F50 was introduced, the Dornier 328JET was added into the fleet for regional services from Perth. The F50 and the 328JET were both replaced by the CRJ family, which was inducted into the fleet in early 2006. However, the Fokker and the Dornier remained in service until 2015 and 2017, respectively. The Beechcraft was also retired in 2017, having been replaced by the Twin Otter. The 737 classics were replaced by the 737 NG, which were introduced in 2002. The airline, which has met all its obligations to creditors, valued colleagues and guests, has launched expanded service taking Africa to the world, and bringing the world to Africa, from its home in South Africa.

‘We’ve right-sized our state-of-the-art fleet and invested in things our customers value most. Like larger overhead bins in coach, kerbside check at all our major airports and especially our people. People who live the Afrikan brand values day and night. These are the true aviation professionals and the true back bone of our airline’ said Pretti Ramazuma-Van Hoosen, President: Afrikan Airlines – Transformation & Change.

Mike Tyson:  Yo what's up guys, I am Mike Tyson and I used to be a boxer.  Yeah, so I made millions of dollars and kinda lost some of them but I did made some more by doing comedy and films and all that jazz so, yeah, I have a huge chunk of savings.  

Mike then pulled out a laptop with a web browser already open.

Mike Tyson:  So anyway, I have been playing this computer game called Airline Enterprise and it was so good that it made me feel like I am this real business man and stuff so I was like, "If I can do these things in this computer game, might as well make a couple of bucks doing this thing in real life, right?"  And so I did.  With my savings, I managed to get me some airplanes and airport slots and gates and some pilots and crews and those guys at the airport gate and stuff.  If you still didn't get it, I just started my real life airline called Iron Mike's Airplane Transport.  That's great right?  Here, let me show you some of my stuff:

Mike then minimized the browser then pulled up a powerpoint presentation filled with pictures of his airline's terminal, crew uniforms, and a TU-204-300 with his livery.

Mike Tyson:  The most interesting thing about an airline company is it's airplanes right?  So let me tell you this story.  I have these friends from Moscow who were fortunately gambling that weekend at Atlantic city so I called them up and told them to come over for some Vodka and Balalaika music, well, Russian woman too but I assume that you already know that.  That's a tried and tested recipe for convincing your Russian friends to agree with your business proposals.  Anyway, because of that wonderful evening, they hooked me up with this filthy rich Russian guy and I ended up leasing these Tupolev airplanes for a good price.  These babies here will be the main guys of my fleet.

Mike then closed the laptop then pulled a cigar from under his desk.  With a big smile, he lit it up and smoked it like a real "businessman" from those 1940's mob films.

I am really pleased with this one because for the first time I had a good working idea of how to combine my love for the old jets like the VC10 and Concorde and the modern day highly advanced and efficient planes like the A350 and A220. Also note my seating will be a lot more realistic this time around, no more HCC High Cost Carrier, while it is obscenely profitable, it is also very susceptible to competition and not all that realistic. 
Pictures still have to be added for the planes and well the route map will be an ever evolving thing of course once the reset is done. 

Anyhow I hope you all like it to and I love to hear your feedback.

It took mankind less than 70 years from believing we could not fly to flying people commercially at twice the speed of sound. A plane designed with pen, paper and a lot of smart brains she hailed in the supersonic age. Now she is back as a part of the Shaylyn vintage historical fleet, she takes to the skies once more as a statement to the skill of those who made her and to the spirit people had in those days of nothing being impossible. A plane that we all should be proud off for it is an achievement unrivaled to this very day almost 50 years after she first flew. 

Vickers Commercial 10, VC10 and Super VC10:

The last hurrah of the independent UK aircraft industry the Vickers VC10 was a beautiful jet liner designed to do one job really well and it did that job really well, but at the cost of efficiency. A plane that sadly did not get the love and respect she deserved until later on. People call her the original queen of the skies and even when the plane that now carries that title the Boeing 747 started to fly people preferred the older, but more comfortable VC10. She was both loved by pilots and passengers alike, but not so much by executives of the airlines. We at Shaylyn however love this jet and hence she flies as a part of our vintage historical fleet so that all can experience the glory days of the jet age. 

Airbus A350 family:

Technology is an ever evolving matter as long as we strive for it and the Airbus A350 is a clear example of this fact. A stunning plane to look at and to fly within, she offers unrivaled comfort and range connecting 2 sides of the globe as if you went to visit your friends a town over. All the while she is doing that she is prone to burn less fuel per person than you would have when driving even your small city car. She is truly a marvel of engineering and we at Shaylyn are proud to operate her to destinations across the globe.

Airbus A320neo family:

The Airbus A 320 family has been a part of the skies for many decades and airbus has shown time and time again how they can keep on innovating the design to ever increasing levels of efficiency and comfort. The neo family planes offer an amazing mix of efficiency and range making them as ideal for hopping around Europe as even flying across the worlds oceans a feet few had expected to see happening. We at Shaylyn love these planes and their flexible nature so expect to see them all over our network.

Airbus A220 family:

The formerly know Bombardier CS300 and CS100 planes are a amazingly efficient and state of the art regional jets. Taking advantage of all the developments made in recent times they offer a level of efficiency not seen in any other regional jet. Their size is also perfect to serve many a smaller airport in means that allows both great service and comfort while also remaining a profitable venture. We at Shaylyn have quickly fallen in love with these planes and their ability for us to reach far more people that would have otherwise not been possible. 

Airbus A380

The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger plane in the world, a true marvel of engineering. We love these giant birds as much as people who fly on them or fly them do. It is a truly unique experience and the comfort onboard these large planes is second to none according to the many people who have had their say on the matter. We fly these on the highest of demand routes around the globe where they are best suited to and we hope that everyone at least once has a chance to fly onboard our A380s at some point. 

Boeing 747-8

The Boeing 747-8 is the latest offering in the modern queen of the skies and many suspect it will be the last, but make no mistake here these planes offer a great level of comfort and proven reliability. They serve us really well on higher demand routes that are not quite suited for twin jets or the even larger A380. Overall expect these queens to take to the skies for some decades to come and we are proud to continue the heritage of the modern queen as much as we do the classic one. 

Boeing 787 dreamliner family.

The Boeing 787 dreamliner has had a bit of a rocky time no doubt about it, but in the end these planes are an amazing option for us to operate and for you to fly on. Highly efficient and comfortable they are ideal choices on lower demand routes that you still would like to see a daily service to. Expect them all over the network in the years to come and we hope they allow you to truly dream while you cruise through the skies in great comfort. 

Boeing 777-9

Still in development, but we have already put in our orders for this latest development of the great twin jet that is the 777. They will be a great companion to our A350 fleet we predict and by operating two different brand of aircraft we have additional flexibility in our fleet as well as the reduction in risk in case of groundings. Though we will have to see still how they will hold up in service and importantly how you our customers rate these planes we expect them to do great. 



CEO Sigrún Athray

Former RAF VC10 and Sentinel pilot Sigrún Athray founded Shaylyn as a company the day after she left the RAF. She went to her family for a financial loan and with that she started working on the foundation of what turn into the airline operating today. With a focus on the future and the planet she managed to string a balance between the things that mattered to her while operating in quite the controversial industry from an environmental point of view. She is know for her military style leadership, she respects opinions and talk backs at the appropriate times, but make no mistake whatever calls she will make are her own and will be executed upon. However she also known to enjoy life cause without proper winding down people tend not to function well in her experience.

About Phoenix Airlines
Phoenix is a mythological bird that exists in both Greek and Chinese mythology. In Greek mythology, it is deemed as a bird symbolizing renewal. In Chinese culture, it is a symbol of virtue and grace. We chose to name our airline Phoenix Airlines as we choose to value high level service and want to bring about quality air travel for all our passengers.
Phoenix Airlines is a Shanghai-based Airline, formed by a group of wealthy businessman as their foray into the Aviation Industry. The airline uses a hybrid system, which is a mix of the service and pricing methods of the full-service carriers and that of the no-frills carriers. Phoenix Airline currently serves regional destinations and major domestic destinations from their hub in Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), with secondary hubs in different parts of China, including Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN).

History of Phoenix Airlines 
In April 2018, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced plans to deregulate the Chinese aviation industry. With that, this group of wealthy businessman, under the company name "Phoenix Airlines Group", applied for an air operators certificate for the airline named Phoenix Airlines Group, aiming to compete with major state-owned Chinese Airlines such as Air China, China Southern Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines.
In September 2018, the airline was given the green light to sell tickets, and it opened its Headquarters in Pudong, Shanghai in end-Sept 2018. 
In December 2018, the airline confirmed that after various delays, the airline will start operations by January 2019, just in time for the Spring Festival (or Chinese New Year). It also announced that it had multiple partners for its new Phoenix Club loyalty system, including Agoda Hotels, Felix Car Rental, and IHG.
In June 2019, the airline further expanded its operations, with more local cities being declared as focus cities and hubs. Chengdu was upgraded as a Hub, while Hangzhou, Xi'an, Xiamen, Kunming was named Focus Cities.
On 29th September 2019, Phoenix Airlines Group, the parent company, officially announced that they would be renaming themselves to Red Phoenix Group, dropping the word "Airlines" from their name. This was after a previous announcement which announced their acquisition of the Lucky Tours Travel Agency Group, marking the airline's first foray into the travel package business. The airline also announced the purchase of Red Star Air, a domestic airline operating out of Dalian city.

Cabin Types
Phoenix Airlines has 5 main cabin types, namely the Main Cabin (Y), PhoenixFlex (W), Phoenix Business (J), PhoenixRed (F), Phoenix Suites (B). These are different cabin types that cater to the needs of different passengers, but we assure you that you will find a comfortable seat for your budget.
Main Cabin
Whenever you fly on other airlines, do you often find your leg room ridiculously small, such that your long legs feel really crammed? Well, fret not! Here at Phoenix Airlines, we offer really excellent leg rooms to cater to your flying comfort. On our narrow-bodies such as the A321 and A320s, you can enjoy a seat pitch of around 36! For wide-bodies such as our B742s, you can enjoy a seat pitch of 44! Yes, you read correctly. This is the main cabin, not the premium economy like you saw on other airlines. That is why we boast one of the least dense aircraft in the airline industry, unrivaled in China! All our passengers in Main Cabin can also enjoy On-Demand Seat back TV, equipped with a USB port and Audio jacks which allow you to plug in your normal headsets!
PhoenixFlex
Sometimes you wonder if you are seating in business class or premium economy, which is why we refuse to call this set of seats either of those names. We stick with our name of PhoenixFlex, which to us is sort of a hybrid between economy and business (if you want to call it premium economy fine by us, but make sure you differentiate between our premium economy and other airlines' premium economy). These airlines boast a seat pitch of 50 and 58 on narrow-body and wide-body aircrafts (yes you read it right), allowing you to enjoy all that extra comfort while in the air! Passengers on our PhoenixFlex tickets will also enjoy a wider variety of drinks, food as well as a better quality seat-back TV.
Phoenix Business
To all of you business class passengers out there, you really should come try our version of "business class". Boasting seats which can be converted to flat-beds is not something you see on all airlines. Here, at Phoenix Airlines, we treat your comfort really seriously. As most passengers on business class are, of course, passengers on work and business trips, we cater to your needs by offering a normal computer plug on top of your USB port. The Seat back TV also boast the capability to allow you to connect your tablets onto our 20-inch screen for your viewing pleasure. Having to connect to your co-workers while in the air? Fret not! All Phoenix Business passengers will enjoy free 40-100MB of data (depending on your flight duration) while in the air, so that you will be able to stay connected. While waiting for your flight, you can also enjoy the use of our Phoenix lounges at our Hub Airports (namely Beijing Capital, Shanghai Pudong and Guangzhou Baiyun), as well as lounges of our partner airlines, for up to 6 hours before departure.
PhoenixRed
Any PhoenixRed passengers are Red Carpet VIPs to us. With priority boarding, free seat selection (subject to availability) and round-the-clock lounge access, you definitely don't want to miss the opportunity to enjoy our excellent services! On the plane, you get a dedicated crew member who will help you with all your needs. You decide how you want your journey with us to be. Decisions such as when to serve the meal, what types of champange/wine you want (subject to availability), when do you want the crew member to help you make your bed, are all made by you and you only. With our mini-suites (your seats, btw) featuring half-height doors and wall separation between each and every seat. privacy is assured within your mini-suites on the aircraft.
Phoenix Suites
If PhoenixRed passengers are VIPs, then you must be a VVIP when you book a Suites ticket. Not only do you get a suite on the plane, you also get to tell us how fantastic your 3-course meal will be (by pre-booking at least 48 hours in advance), what types of drinks do you want (pre-ordered), and also a buggy ride from the immigration counter to the lounge and from the lounge to the gate at selected airports! You will also be accompanied by at least one member of the ground crew while at the airport, giving you the VVIP treatment you cannot enjoy elsewhere! With UNLIMITED WiFi access, and free premium music/video services, your trip with us is certainly unbelievable.

Fleet
In Jan 2019, the airline has secured an agreement to lease 5 A321neo from Airbus, with an option to increase the total number of leased aircrafts to 35 from the A320 new engine option series. Currently, the airline has increased its order for the A320neo and A321neo to 100, as well as 20 A321XLRs slated to join the fleet in 2023.
The airline has also secured an agreement with Chinese aircraft producer Comac with regards to a purchase of ARJ21 and C919 aircrafts. In August 2019, Phoenix Airlines has decided to upgrade the order for ARJ21 to C919 orders, and increased the overall confirmed order to 40 C919 aircrafts.
The airline also has a number of second-hand Boeing 747-200 and Boeing 747-400 aircrafts, while is purchasing/leasing A350XWB aircrafts.
In early September 2019, Phoenix Airlines welcomed the Boeing 787 series into the aircraft. They currently operate a mix of the 787-9 and the 787-10, which is used mainly for regional operations. This comes after Phoenix Airlines confirmed that they will be transferring their agreement for 20 A330-900neos to A350XWB series in late August 2019.
In late September 2019, Phoenix Airlines also announced the retirement of the Douglas DC-8-73 series, with the aircraft type exiting the fleet by 30th September 2019.

Airbus 320neo/321neo/320neoXLR
There was no convincing required when we decided on using the Airbus 320 series as our main narrowbody aircraft. Apart from being fuel efficient, its versatility also allows us to utilise the planes for various purposes, whether it is for thin long-haul routes, or trunk domestic routes. Phoenix Airlines is a huge supporter of Airbus' A320neo series, agreeing to lease and eventually purchase numerous aircraft of this series. The A320s form the backbone of our operations, and is commonly seen on key routes such as PVG-PEK and CAN-ICN.

Airbus 350-900/1000
What is a fleet without Airbus' newest Technological marvel, the A350 series? The brand new widebody from Airbus features unbeatable fuel efficiency, as well as a long range that allows us to fly long distances. The larger than normal size allows us accommodate more passengers, as well as feature our world-renowned Phoenix Suites on many of our A350s. The A350 series is mostly offered on flights to Europe and America, as well as selected high capacity regional flights. The A350-1000 features 204 seats, including 9 Phoenix Suites and 28 Phoenix Business seats. The A350-900ULR has 188 seats, configured for long haul flights. We will also be operating the original A350-900 version, which will feature more seats in a 3-class configuration. The A350-900ULR is also used to operate the longest route in the world: CAN-GRU, a cross continental flight bringing passengers from China to Brazil.

Boeing 747-200/400
The undisputed Queen of the Skies is a well-loved member of our fleet. Although many airlines are starting to retire the once-majestic B747s from their fleet, here in Phoenix Airlines, we believe that this majestic aircraft still has a place in aviation, and that is why here in Phoenix Airlines, we retrofit and repaint our B747s and make them good as new! Besides, our B747-400s also feature our finest Queen's Bar, a bar that seats up to 15 passengers at one go for you to enjoy your favourite drinks, and allowing everyone (except minors) to gain access to our bar while being on the plane!

Boeing 787-9/10
After a consideration between the Airbus 330neo and the Dreamliners, Phoenix Airlines eventually opted for the Dreamliners, noting that the aircraft type's versatility would allow it to be operated on shorter high density routes. The Dreamliner is the first of the new generation of aircraft, with the efficiency of the aircraft well recognised. In Phoenix Airlines, we operate the 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft types. The 787-10 features a four class configuration, which includes our PhoenixRed suites that provide huge comfort for our passengers. The 787-10 is mainly used on our high density regional routes such as PVG-SIN. The 787-9 features a 3 class configuration that is useful for both leisure routes with high economy demand, as well as smaller regional routes.

Douglas DC-8-73
With a maximum capacity even larger than that of a B757, this legacy Super 70 aircraft has always been something we are proud to own. With such a huge capacity , it allows us to retrofit more Business class seats or even a more premium configuration as compared to a normal narrow body like the A321. This aircraft is widely used on long thin routes, to destinations which may be less popular with tourists but are largely welcomed with for exotic travellers and passengers on business trips. This is also used on our routes to smaller destinations. This aircraft type would be retired on 29th September 2019, with the PF 70 and PF 873 being the last 2 commercial flights operated by Phoenix Airlines using this aircraft.

Tuploev Tu-204-120/Tu-214
Starting to see a trend? We combine the finest aircrafts of today with the best of the past. With such a diverse aircraft fleet, it cannot be complete with these handy narrowbodies which are used to serve less popular routes. Currently configured on a 2/3-class seating, these aircraft allow us to keep operating costs low and serve short flights such as CAN-HAK, as well as increase point-to-point connection with flights between small airports. Rather them flying 1 time weekly with a B747, why not have a fly daily with a smaller aircraft? We are proud to inform you that frequency is more important than capacity. Just ask the people flying to Nepal and Bhutan.

About Phoenix Airlines
Phoenix is a mythological bird that exists in both Greek and Chinese mythology. In Greek mythology, it is deemed as a bird symbolizing renewal. In Chinese culture, it is a symbol of virtue and grace. We chose to name our airline Phoenix Airlines as we choose to value high level service and want to bring about quality air travel for all our passengers.
Phoenix Airlines is a Shanghai-based Airline, formed by a group of wealthy businessman as their foray into the Aviation Industry. The airline uses a hybrid system, which is a mix of the service and pricing methods of the full-service carriers and that of the no-frills carriers. Phoenix Airline currently serves regional destinations and major domestic destinations from their hub in Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), with secondary hubs in different parts of China, including Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN).

History of Phoenix Airlines 
In April 2018, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced plans to deregulate the Chinese aviation industry. With that, this group of wealthy businessman, under the company name "Phoenix Airlines Group", applied for an air operators certificate for the airline named Phoenix Airlines Group, aiming to compete with major state-owned Chinese Airlines such as Air China, China Southern Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines.
In September 2018, the airline was given the green light to sell tickets, and it opened its Headquarters in Pudong, Shanghai in end-Sept 2018. 
In December 2018, the airline confirmed that after various delays, the airline will start operations by January 2019, just in time for the Spring Festival (or Chinese New Year). It also announced that it had multiple partners for its new Phoenix Club loyalty system, including Agoda Hotels, Felix Car Rental, and IHG.
In June 2019, the airline further expanded its operations, with more local cities being declared as focus cities and hubs. Chengdu was upgraded as a Hub, while Hangzhou, Xi'an, Xiamen, Kunming was named Focus Cities.
On 29th September 2019, Phoenix Airlines Group, the parent company, officially announced that they would be renaming themselves to Red Phoenix Group, dropping the word "Airlines" from their name.
