Connecting PAX is something I want to add after the reset, at some point. I don't think it will be too difficult but I just want to have a discussion on it.

What I was thinking is something along these lines: The game will take any given route, and calculate the amount of routes you have TO the departure airport and FROM the arrival airport. Then, it does some calculations, not exactly sure what, but essentially the more routes you have to/from the respective airports the more opportunity you will have for connecting pax.

Lets say for simplicity's sake you have only 4 routes. You operate one route, DFW-LAX. You have another route, IAH-DFW. And you have two more routes, LAX-NRT and LAX-SYD.

The way connecting pax might work for the DFW-LAX route, is it takes the 1 route from IAH and calculates a certain % of people that are connecting to LAX from IAH. Then, it takes the two routes to NRT and SYD, and it calculates another certain % of people that are connecting from DFW to those two destinations. Then it adds that demand to the standard demand for the DFW-LAX route.

It would need to consider of course what days the routes are active, if you only fly LAX-SYD on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday then you wouldn't get connecting pax for the other days. Like I said this is just ideas and I have not done any actual calculations yet but I just want to write these down for future reference so when it comes time to implement it I can look back on it.

Hi everyone

Prior to the upcoming game reset I want to try and verify that the aircraft in-game have the correct statistics. We will never get it 100% accurate because we do not have different engine options implemented, MTOW options, winglet options, and so on. But I want to make sure nothing is tremendously off.

For fuel usage - currently the game calculates fuel usage based on a formula, this was done because fuel usage stats were difficult to find for all aircraft types. that formula is: maximum fuel capacity (US Gal) / Max range (Imperial Miles) (this should be max range at MTOW, but, that stat is difficult to find to most aircraft as well).

The idea being that if we have the range in the system set to max at MTOW it is easy to calculate extended range capabilities based on the weight of the aircraft, similar to how we do it for runway restrictions.

So I guess I want this to be a discussion / community effort to validate that the aircraft currently in game are accurate. If you notice something that you believe is wrong, post it here and we can investigate it and change things if necessary (I will compile a list of changes needed and make them on the new server, not the current game)

FYI for the reset we are looking at possibly 2 weeks from now but it just depends on how quickly we can get things up and running.

I am in this game for past 50 days. And i observe from players who are playing for 6 months or more are cash rich with good rating and with wide aircraft inventory.
They are establishing multiple hubs apart from their home base. And i see some players who have hub in a another country, coming and establishing a hub.

And a player has started doing it in my hub. This seems unreal and unfair.

I think the game should bring in more restrictions w.r.t multiple hubs.

- Max. three hubs.
- Slots restrictions in 2nd and 3rd hub. Make it more expensive to operate them.
- Restrict foreign airlines to operate a hub in another country. (get codeshare or alliance to operate so)

This is my opinion to make the game more interesting and real.
What do you all think?

As some of you know I made the 2 original video guides linked to in the game guide and I am ready to make the new ones seeing the game has every so slightly changed

Now the question is do you all prefer single longer videos going in full depth from start to finish, or would you rather prefer smaller dedicated videos to each topic? I personally lean towards the shorter videos as those can be more easily searched and I could even set up a channel just for those. The longer videos I would need to keep to my main channel cause I would be limited by upload length.

Also I am thinking I will split them up in 2 sections:

Basic: Just explaining how to do things without talking what is the best options or things like that. So like purely "This is how you can get airplanes" without going into detail on which airplanes to buy.

Advanced: This would be going into detail on things, like with airplanes, how to find the best airplanes for your routes etc.

I will say unlike before I cannot just give a blanket golden route anymore cause the game is a lot more complex (which is a great thing) so it will be more guides and not just an answers as to here is how to make the most money end of story

Airbus A380 Impending Retirement

The Airbus A380 is slated to stop production in 2021. How will the game respond? Will we be able to continue ordering brand new A380's until the last A380 is delivered in the real world, or will we be unable to submit orders as soon as it goes into effect?

Such a sad thing to happen, but truthfully, it is very much expected, as the market is not kind to aircraft larger than the A350-900/777-8 sized aircraft (the A350-1000 and 777-9 seems to be sluggish on orders as well). The 747 itself is a bit oversized but still market-relevant, but such a huge leap as the A380 (almost double the size of the 747-400) is obviously prone to failure. I do hope that Airbus will reserve the design for future use though - I think one day the A380 will be more than necessary.

The Airbus A380 is slated to stop production in 2021. How will the game respond? Will we be able to continue ordering brand new A380's until the last A380 is delivered in the real world, or will we be unable to submit orders as soon as it goes into effect?
I've set up my aircraft to fly a few different routes once daily, but this always never happens. Eg, flight should fly SIN-KUL once a day, but after flying once on Day 1, it will be scheduled to fly on Day 3 instead. I had to deactivate and cancel flights for it to fly the next day. What have I done wrong?

Hi everyone, so as all of you may know the next part of this closed beta is to implement political restrictions. As a result, I would like to help Unk compile a list of restrictions by region so that he can try to implement it in game together with the political restrictions. Problem is that I am not really familiar with some of the countries and their restriction. (Even if I am familiar I don't have time to double check it)

So here is what I am going to do. Basically, here is the link to the current list where I am compiling. I will start with Asian countries first before moving on to other regions. What you can help me is to provide me some of the restrictions that you know about countries, and submit them below in this format.
