Yes, tons annually.

I can work on adding some Russian airports. Not promising to add all of them or anything...there are way too many...

EDIT: What happened to the google doc? Most of it seems to have disappeared? Or am I looking at it wrong?

EDIT 2: Never mind, I fixed it. Most of the file got (accidentally, most likely) wiped out by an anonymous user, I restored it through revision history.

We have to update the statistics upto 2015-16, right?

Few Indian Airports are missing in the list. Let me know if it's okay to add at the bottom?

Adding at the bottom is what everyone's doing. Just make sure to add airport IDs - next one from the airport above.

Im not sure, do people think this is worth while? Some data will be older then this, or it may be that no newer sources are available, equally, for the majority of airports the data won't be that old, and when the game is released it would require considerable time and effort to keep updating the stats each year. Personally id vote for no updating old airports (unless anyone happens to notice one has changed significantly or if a mistake has been made), but for new airports use the most upto date information available.

Also, the map has been updated with all new airports on the spreadsheet (the old link is still valid)

I'd like to bring to everyone's attention that airports with IDs 913-994 have disappeared from the list. This keeps happening regularly. I am not sure how to fix this particular issue without wiping out every airport that has been added since by restoring a previous version of the file. These airport deletions are (hopefully) accidents, nut people really, really need to be careful what they do. Unk and a few others have put tremendous amounts of work into compiling over a thousand airports, and mass deletions like this can't be allowed to happen. I've already reverted the file twice to save airports, but, again, I am not sure how many times I can do this before I start wiping out airports in the process of returning others from past revisions.

I agree with skifans, unless something is significantly off then it's okay to leave it as is for now. Also a lot of the time the info available is several years old. Just use the most recent you can find.

Also do be careful not to delete anything. I downloaded it last night so I have a copy of it but if airports keep getting deleted somehow I may have to limit editing to certain users. My suggestion is after you add airports to download it so it's saved. Just add airports to the bottom of the list. And actually the ID isn't even all that important, you don't need to put one if you don't want to. In 5 seconds I can auto-populate all the IDs manually so don't stress over that.

If the sheet is being vandalised then could we consider making it that you need to have a Google account to edit (even if not nesserceility approved) so that it becomes clear who causes this can be seen instead of just "anomalous" in the revision history. Regarding airports going missing, when I have opened the documents in the past sometimes filters or sorts have been applied, I have just cleared these and continued, but if you are using these then can you please place the document back the way it was when your done, and not use it if other people are editing at the same time as you?
