I could do it either way, really. Initially when I tried to create routes I was making it more complicated than it needed to be. Now I have a much better idea of how I can get them working in the back-end.
Some people like the auto-takeoff gameplay that other games use, and some people like the individual takeoff that CA used. I don't think we will ever get everyone to agree on which is better. So the idea was to combine the two, sort of, and allow the creation of routes, and then instead of a "launch flight" button there would be a "launch route" button. So you could set up something like LHR->CDG->LHR->MAD->LHR, assign that route to one of your planes, and then click "launch route" and the plane would fly that route in it's entirety. There would be length limits to routes to prevent people from setting up a week's worth of flights.
