Ferrairi being Idiots, I think even Vettel accepted this one was a stupid move on him and well add to Raikonen having a great start so going for P2 of the line and welp that happened.
Anyhow what I am curious about will be this time next year cause there will be quite some drive movements I think, it will be a roulette though when 2021 comes around, new engines always shake up the grid.

Interesting move, Nascar will begin limiting engine supply next season. Currently in the top-tier teams, engines get torn down and rebuilt entirely after each event, essentially using 36 engines throughout the entire season, one for each race. Often times even more than that if an engine is swapped or a back-up car is used.
Next season all races will be single-engine events, so no more swapping engines halfway through the weekend. If they do, they'll start from the rear.
Quote:On top of this, NASCAR is mandating that full-time teams use 13 of their engines for the series for two full race weekends, explains Frontstretch. That engine will be sealed so that no one can update or refurbish anything on it in the meantime. It goes into the next weekend exactly like it came out of the first.

I'm confused on this, so 13 engines for two races each. That's 26 races. What about the other 10 races lol? Nobody has explained that part yet.
Of course, in Nascar races you can start last and still win the race. Happens all the time. F1 isn't quite the same in that regard.

It does sound like a good move for Nascar. Revising, upgrading and changing parts of the engine after every race isn't something that every team can afford. But they do need to explain how it will be at the other races. Or is the season being cut down to 26 races?

No the season is still 36 races. The last 10 are the “playoff” races so that probably has something to do with it. Maybe they’re allowing a fresh engine for each playoff race.

Well that would explain it I guess. I for one can't wait to find out what they exactly want with the new season. Seems like they are trying to follow F1 with some rules. Hope they won't become as strict as F1 though, that would ruin Nascar.
