Been thinking about this for a while. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to how we can get the word out about Airline Enterprise? Nobody knows about the game except for a small group of people that used to play CA. If I'm not mistaken that's where everyone here has ultimately come from.
We have 44 users currently registered in-game. I'd really like to get that to around 100 or so, to open up the possibility of performing a game reset and then simulating gameplay from the very beginning, with the correct amount of starting cash and so forth. That's one of the main things we need to do before we can move out of public beta stage, but we can't do it accurately with only 44 players.
I don't want to go and advertise on other games or post threads in their forums, so please don't go and do that. Facebook gave me $30 in ad credits to use, so I used those. It's reaching people but so far nobody has actually come to the game from Facebook. I did think about maybe posting something on Reddit, but I don't really know the rules or how it works. Their website layout confuses me lol. I rarely use Reddit and don't even have an account there. But they do have a r/Tycoon section that this might fit into.
I'm no marketing expert, in fact I dislike sales & marketing lol. Hated the subject in school. I don't have much of a marketing budget, at this time I don't really have any budget at all, so spending money is currently something that's out of the question. Unless perhaps it's a small amount, I'd consider it.
When selling aircraft, you now have the option to either sell to the broker for 35% less than market value, or list it for sale with a custom price.
Selling to broker is instant, and listing at a custom price is not, i.e. you don't get paid until your aircraft is purchased.
When an aircraft is waiting to be sold, you will see a new icon on your fleet page:
This indicates the aircraft is waiting to be sold, and you cannot fly the aircraft or change anything with it.
I have also cleared the used market of all the user-sold aircraft just to clean it up a bit.
I've been checking the MDE-GRU-MDE route. After sending all my fleet several consecutive times I see that the demand decreases dramatically and I think this is bad thing because you can not use many aircraft for short routes because the demand drops more quickly and it is normal to have
severeal daily flights as BOG-MEX in real life with ten daily flights. Besides a big aircraft is quite difficult to fill and if the demand drops they will be on the tarmac.
All the positive transactions on the created routes are coming as negative, look at the images before and after the flight 6777, entered 62,817.88 but had 68,538.87 of expenses, only make the calculation in the total there, before 15,798,293.40, after15,729. 754.53, The right thing would be for me to have 15,861,110.00..... I wrote for the translator, my English is not good, I hope you understand.
I've decided to compile a master to-do list, partly for you guys to see what's being planned and partly for me so I don't forget. Bug fixes are not included on this list, this is only for new features or additions to gameplay. These are in no particular order. I'll try to update it fairly often.
You can also see confirmed features that will be added to the game prior to final release on the issue tracker, here.
Add ability to list aircraft for sale at a custom price
Route maps
Add country flag icons for countries that are missing them
Additional statuses for live arrivals/departures
Cancel route if it has not started yet
Name routes
Sortable table columns throughout the game, particularly on research pages
Income Statement with charts/graphs/categories to track finances
Employees
Infrastructure/Hangars/Office Space
Aircraft Leasing
Make "Ready at" times auto-update during route creation, based on selected departure of the previous flight
In-flight entertainment & In-flight service
Work time of day into the competition factor, i.e. time of day would affect demand
Mark as read/unread and delete options for private messages
Send private messages to multiple recipients
Cargo aircraft & flights
Flight delays
Add option to assign departure times to flight numbers to allow finer control of ticket pricing
Marketing/PR ad campaigns
Credit rating for airlines
Stock price for airlines
Limit gates table on airline overview page to 10-20 gates, and add a link to view all gates

Edit routes
Aircraft maintenance checks
Bankruptcy when airline funds reach critical amount
Accidents/Incidents, aircraft damage and insurance

Cancel sale of aircraft if it hasn't sold yet
Add the ability to have 'options' when ordering new aircraft. If you pick up the options later that would lock in your pricing and allow shorter lead time for the option aircraft.
Political Restrictions
Better gate management
Route overview page that shows all your routes, frequencies, avg. ticket price, loadfactors and so on
I saw the discussion somewhere whether you were debating whether using a percentage or checks for aircraft maintenance. Personally I would like to see checks as those are much more realistic. Possibly even throw some unexpected maintenance every once in a while, either during a check or out of a check. Wikipedia has an excellent page on it:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_maintenance_checks
Can someone please tell me where im going wrong with this route. Leg 4/5 is giving me a headache
Route will depart tomorrow.
