Unk, since yesterday I can't fly my aircraft. The last column on the fleet page is not displayed on my mobile phone. I have tried different browsers. However on my PC everything is fine. Yesterday I have bought one Vickers-Armstrongs, probably the name of this plane and the name of model are too long.

Hello.
After having a long list of aircraft it would be good to have a search field by registration number on the fleet management page to find an aircraft quickly.
Thanks.

Hi.
I sent two aircraft from MDE to Lax.
The cost for using shared gate at LAX was $9,674.28
The airport fee - landing with no available gate at LAX was $4,000.00
We need to adjust this numbers.

I don't plan on implementing cargo aircraft and a cargo demand formula until after we get the passenger formula completed and stable. But I wanted to start a discussion on cargo now so we can come back to it in the future when I'm ready to start working on the cargo aspect of the game. Basically post/discuss anything you'd like to see implemented (or things you'd like to avoid) when dealing with cargo. A few things I thought of:
Transporting cargo on passenger planes: Allow the transportation of cargo in the belly of your passenger planes, much like many airlines do in real life. Would allow utilization of cargo hold space that would otherwise be empty.
Cargo contracts? Sign various contracts with made up companies to transport their cargo. They would have specific routes that would need to be served and so on. Might be a bit complicated to implement but I think it would add a lot of immersion, rather than just having cargo magically appear on any route you fly.
Cargo would be exempt from any political restrictions (if those are ever implemented), just as in real life.
Additionally I still need to compile cargo statistics for a lot of airports. Right now there are 593 airports that do not have any cargo stats associated with them. Thats 38.7% of the airports that are missing data. Not too bad, much better than if it were all of them.

Vickers Super VC10
Currently 23 of this are in service with Andromeda Aviation.
Expansion plans:
It is no secret that the Vickers VC10 has not been in production for a long long time, as a result Andromeda Aviation is always looking for second hand examples to buy up. Once a new one has been acquired it is flow to Toronto where it will undergo a full refit. The planes are stripped down to their skeletons and rebuild from there, an extensive process that takes about a month to 2 months depending on the state of the plane. Once this process has been completed they are like brand new planes again and are put into service flying commercial passengers once more.
Andromeda Aviation also acquired the full blue prints of the Vickers VC10 and the Conway engines and studies are ongoing to regarding modernization of flight systems and engines.
Staff:
CEO & Founder: Jun'ko Zane
![[Image: v7zdLbY.jpg]](https://images.weserv.nl/?url=i.imgur.com%2Fv7zdLbY.jpg)
Former RCAF CF-188 pilot and black sheep of the Sarrif family she founded Andromeda Aviation after her time in the RCAF came to an end. Known for a love of speed, the classics and the future all mixed into one complicated package with a 'fuck it we can do it' attitude to just about everything. She took a family inheritance buyout and used that to start Andromeda Aviation buying up old VC10 planes right away before really having much of a plan of what to do with them. This move pretty much signals her way of operating, doing things and figuring out as she goes and so far she tends to come out rather well. Perhaps not entirely what one would expect from a former RCAF major, but those who served with her confirm that this was how she operated when she could. However she also fully understands the needs for procedures and careful planning. Jun'ko Znae is a former Royal Canadian Air Force Major. During her time in service she was trained and flew the CF-188 and during the last 5 years of her service she served as the second in command to the 409 tactical fighter squadron. She took an honorable discharge after 15 years of service citing it was time to do something else beside escorting unfriendly bears from Canadian airspace. Those who worked with her in the force stated that she was a hard, but fair officer who was always more demanding on her own performance than that of others. "She would not ask you to do something if she could not do it herself." A fellow pilot stated when questioned about her.
Her private life however was more complicated her choices to join the service as well as other matters she has not disclosed swiftly made her a black sheep within the wealthy Sarrif family. As a result she changed her name when she turned 18 and a few years ago she took an inheritance buyout from the family to completely cut ties. With this money she started Andromeda Aviation buying up any and all Vickers VC10 she could get her hands on, a plane she fell in love with during a inflight refueling session near the UK. With a plan in her mind she started to gather the people she needed a lot of those to no one's surprise tend to be also former RCAF. As a result corporate structure is more military than standard business and many tend to call each other by old ranks just because it is something familiar. Though a bit of a culture shock for those who come to work for Andromeda Aviation from the civilian side, most state that it is nothing mandatory and that overall the staff is hard working and very competent and will respect talent and knowledge from anyone who knows their job.
So now with a successful airline running Jun'ko Zane is often found either working hard or partying hard she might be hitting 33 soon she is clearly not planning to slow down anytime soon. It also makes her a bit of an outsider in the world of airline CEOs, a world she tends to avoid most of the time unless it is for actual fun events like an airshow.

It was early in the morning in Toronto Canada as the jet bridge disconnected and the tug pushed the plane into position. Soon after the howling noise of the jet age started as one after the other 4 Rolls-Royce Conway engines spun to live. Next up the communication started:
"Tempest 102 to tower ready for departure."
"Tower to Tempest 102 affirmative, follow the Air Canada A321 right in front of you."
"Tempest 102 copies, following the Air Canada A321."
The noise from the engines got even louder and higher in pitch and soon the Vickers Commercial super 10 started to move following the much younger and much quieter A321.
Not much later she was on the runway and the engine spooled up to full strength, the breaks released and white water vapor from the injection showed as she started to barrel down the runway. 06R/24L was the shortest runway available not the one one would expect to be used by a international flight, but the VC10 came from an other era and well the water injection helped a bit to as she achieved lift off well clear of the end and the whining noise slowly subsided as she started her steep climb to reduce the noise impact to those on the ground as much as possible. Sadly not all people appreciate the wonderful sound track of the Conway engine. Flight AI 103 from YYZ to LHR was fully underway and would land just over 6 hours later around 2000 local time.
Aboard the plane things where business as usual, the 3 flight attended looked after 115 passengers aboard starting by handing out drinks and snacks once the plane had leveled off on it's course. Inside the cabin it was impossible to notice one was aboard a 50 year old plane, in fact thinking that one had found themselves aboard a science fiction space ship was more likely. The glossy whites, blues, teals and greens just made it look very futuristic. Up front there where the 8 first class pods all 8 of which were occupied, behind that where the 24 luxury business class seats of which only 1 was empty, following future to the back where 24 premium economy class seats and finally 60 normal economy class seats both of these classes where also fully occupied. The staff all wore the same style uniform mostly white with a teal center color and male and female both was just trousers and long sleeve shirt. Their service was excellent and fast having been well trained and very familiar with the plane they served out the drinks and snacks requested by each passenger before launch, this was it saved them the time of asking each passenger what they wanted.
In the cockpit things where however a clear return to the jet age, not 2, but 3 people called here the office for the day, captain, co-pilot and flight engineer all where needed to keep the 50 year old plane flying smoothly. The raw mechanical nature of the beast was clear here, this was not a fly by wire plane let alone fly by light with arrays of computers handling all their needs. This was actually flying and perhaps that is why it drew a certain mix of people, the captain was a former Royal Air Force pilot, the co-pilot was a young kid who just wanted to fly something by hand and the flight engineer ought to have been retired, but even with a gun to his head one would not be able to get him away from his job and well as long as he can do it, why not.
This is the nature of flights aboard the Tempest fleet, planes from a age long gone and past kept in operation just because and still flying commercial routes to this day. Some people will hate them for the noise they make, others will love that fact and in the end anyone that flies onboard them tends to come back for there is just no plane like her and no airline as dedicated to keep them flying despite all the odds against them. As the airlines founder and owner states, "I call this the Andromeda Initiative because it is foolish in many ways, but I love it and so do all who work here and it is that feeling that keeps it going."
