Probably a long term thing/when the game matures, but maybe we can have an option for order options, this way we could lock in prices when ordering large amounts or even have options count towards discounts. Could probably allow a shorter lead time if you exercise the options.

Airline Empires (AE, http://www.airline-empires.com/index.php.../home.html) has a swear filter, why can't we?

The 767-300ER is actually still in production, but the game claims it stopped production in 2014.

Just as the title says - this would be really nice, since we would be able to lease the used planes - a cheaper alternative to purchasing them.

There's been some discussion recently of changing the routes system so that you don't have to click "fly route" each time your route ends in order to fly it again. Instead, the flights would schedule themselves automatically every day according to the routes you have enabled. Sort of like a "set and forget" type thing, but not really as you'd still have to pay attention to ticket prices, competition, demand fluctuations, gate leases and so on and so forth. 

Essentially the "fly route" button would be changed to "enable route" and the route would then schedule itself every day, until you disable it.

My question is would you be in favor of this change? I can look into making the necessary changes to the system in order to make this work but before I even get into it I want to make sure it's something that is favored by most people. The route scheduling code is the most complicated part of the entire game and I don't want to start messing with it too much if I don't have to, lol.

I think a way to check the current ticket price of flight should be available on a particular flight. Maybe on the Live Flight Tracker page.

Not sure if this is already mentioned, but on the routes research page, the ability to type IATA codes would help the workflow greatly, since it keeps resetting all the time and scrolling and finding a airport in a list of hundreds is a pain.

Speaking of workflow, the current way I see potential earnings on a route is to "fly" the route, see the earnings/profits breakdown, and then calculating per ticket pricing and the passenger weight vs fuel spent ratio to get the right ticket pricing. The routes research gives a rough idea, but is clunky to use. Hence why I think checking the ticket price in the flight tracker will help. 

Also if anyone has a better way to do what I am trying to do please let me know. But I still think ticket price checking per flight and IATA codes in route research would be great.

Just remembered this feature out of CA where you could make early lease payments and eventually buy the aircraft out of the lease. I don't know if it would be possible/useful to have this feature in AE.

Also not sure if this is easy or not, but can we get a notification when one of our leases are expiring?

I sold the YS-11 to the broker but future maintenance and insurance costs still appear in the ledger. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature.

Hi guys. 

Internet has been on and off, so wanted to get this in while I can. 

My home town was hit exceptionally hard by the flooding caused by Harvey. We have several creeks that run through the area that have overflowed 8-10 ft above their banks. Somehow my subdivision has not flooded, so I'm fine. But I have friends, neighbors just down the road that have 6-8 feet of water inside their homes. Roads that have never flooded are now being used as boat lanes to rescue people.

Over the next few weeks I doubt I will have much, if any time to work on this game. I was supposed to start a new job this week, obviously that is not happening anymore. Right now my top priority is helping my friends that were not as lucky as me.

Again, I'm fine so don't worry about me. As soon as things start to get back to normal I will get back to working on the game
