After some very successful first months of operations, Nordic is pleased to announce the airline's entry into the long haul market! Earlier today, Nordic has secured a lease agreement with the Air Lease Corporation for a long-term lease of three brand new Airbus A350-900s, the first of which is scheduled to be delivered in August 22nd, 2019. Our new A350-900s will seat up to 300 passengers in three cabin classes: Our signature Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class. These new aircraft will feature free of charge on-board Wi-Fi, as well as personal in-flight entertainment screens for all passengers.
The first destination to be served by our A350-900 is Seoul! Leisure and business travelers can now fly faster and easier from Seoul to Europe by flying the northern route!

Welcome To United!
Our Full Airline Name Is United Airlines, but we like to keep things simple!
About United:
United is based in Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Our history comes from an airline that likes to bring people together and wants to make the whole world United. We have a hub in Denver International Airport (DEN) too.
United's Goal:
United's mission is to connect the world, one destination at a time.
Fleet
Cabin:
Economy:
Economy is our most basic cabin class, but we continue to offer world winning amenities in economy, including snacks, and drinks for free on all flights. Economy becomes almost like business class on other airlines when you fly one of our long haul flights, and we hope that you'll join us for those flights.
Economy Plus:
Economy Plus is our step between Economy and Polaris Business. Besides the seat upgrades, you get even more amenities compared with economy. Often we treat this as an even better business class and sometimes there's glasses involved!
Polaris Business:
Polaris Business is our signature business class that can't be found on any other airline. The seats are made up of a fantastic leather. You receive a fantastic screen to watch only the best in flight entertainment on every flight. The service we provide feels like a first class compared to other airlines and it is impossible to beat.
World First:
World First is our signature first class which can be found on select domestic flights and most international flights (Flight not Operated by A320Neo). The seats are top in their class and have the highest quality display in the market. The service that is received in World First is unmatched by any other airline.
All:
All of our aircraft offer WiFi which can be found for an affordable 5-15$ depending on your flight. The aircraft also offers a screen at every single seat, something you don't see everyday. On our Airbus 380-800, we offer an onboard bar where Polaris and World First passengers can relax. These amenities set us apart from all of the other carriers.

Our fleet is made up of a mix of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer Aircraft, with Airbus being the majority. Below is a chart of our aircraft and their seating charts.

There will be scheduled maintenance on July 25 at 03:00 UTC. We will be performing core software and game components upgrades and updates. In addition, we will be performing some preparatory work for our new forums and single sign on system, coming soon! Both the game AND forums will be unavailable during this time. However, the issue tracker and chat will remain in service.
Currently, there is a 3 hour window for this maintenance. It is anticipated that it will not require the entire maintenance window. However, the daily maintenance is still scheduled for that day, and will occur at the usual 05:55 to 06:30 UTC. If the entire 3 hour windows is required for the scheduled maintenance, the game will also continue to be unavailable until 06:30 UTC. Forum access should be restored at the completion of the scheduled maintenance and will be up for the daily maintenance.
You can always find the most up to date information on the chat. If you have any questions, or need help converting the time, let me know either by posting below, in the chat, a private message in game or on the forum.
There will be NO new features added to the game during this maintenance period. Only server systems are to be updated to accommodate new features being implemented soon.

Reputation, Route Creating, etc.

Hi, I am a beginner at Airline Enterprise.
I had multiple airlines earlier but had deleted them because I wasn't satisfied with my outcome.
Now, I have started a new airline, waiting for the used planes to come to my base.
So here I am asking you guys to help me solve the following questions I have had a long time:
- How do I know what the route awareness is? In the route research, one of the little boxes were route awareness, but I don't know what the awareness is because I don't know how to!
- This awareness goes with the airline reputation/class. Like, where can I look so I know what my reputation is in each class?
As far as I understand from reading others', basically your passenger load will increase if my airline reputation increases?
Thank you

Potential new maintenance formula

As many of you have pointed out the current maintenance formula for aircraft needs to be changed, as older aircraft have a much higher ROI than new aircraft and it makes gameplay fairly unbalanced.
I have been developing a new formula that uses exponential growth based on cycles and aircraft size. I'd like everyone's thoughts on how they think something like this might work and any adjustments that may need to be made.
The goal is essentially to make maintenance costs for older aircraft roughly 3x what they are now. It depends on the aircraft, number of engines, etc but for the most part the new formula accomplishes this, around the 35-40k cycles range. Beyond that costs continue to increase exponentially.
If you want to play with the numbers here is the link to spreadhseet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing (you need to download to edit)
Some screenshots of old vs new formula for various sized aircraft: https://imgur.com/a/XVZ8Rot
As you can see the formulas are very similar up until around 10k cycles and then the new formula starts to make things more expensive. The only concern I have is I don't want to completely eliminate the ability to use older aircraft. One thing I can do is adjust the used market generation script to reduce the cycle count for generated aircraft just a bit, I notice a lot of the older aircraft are upwards of 50k cycles which can make starting off with used aircraft no longer viable, and I don't want that to happen.

Hello again, I have a question regarding gate lease. Should I lease a gate that is equal to the number of planes I have, or should lease a gate that is equal to the utilization?

737 MAX Runway Requirements

I believe the runway requirements for the MAX are incorrect in-game.
The MAX 8 should be 8,300 feet rather than 8,200
The MAX 9 should be 8,500 rather than 9,700
