Alytus is the only low-cost carrier in Europe that focusses on connecting small, underserved airports to large cities, as well as to other small airports. Alytus takes the point-to-point model to the extreme, with bases all over Europe, and plenty of flights - rarely do Alytus flights fly less than once a day!
Why Alytus?
Alytus provides lower fares than other carriers, and you can choose what to add onto your fare, so you're not stuck with paying for extras you don't want. Want extra space? How about carry-on or check baggage? Maybe a warm meal? It's up to you what you add to your ticket! Fares start at rock-bottom, and you can add whatever under the skies you want.
Alytus Services
Flights served by narrow-body and regional aircraft:
Food:
On flights under 1.5 hours, soft drinks and snacks are available for purchase from our inflight service team.
On flights over 1.5 hours, warm and cold meals are available for purchase, with a wide menu available for your enjoyment. Alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase on these flights, all alcoholic beverages are 8 EUR.
Water is complimentary on all flights.
Entertainment:
Let us entertain you! On flights under two and a half hours, enjoy our cabin crew's humorous announcements, the views of beautiful Europe passing under your windows, and our complimentary inflight magazine, Alytus inFlight.
On flights over two and a half hours, you can borrow one of our state-of-the-art Apple iPads for just 8.50 EUR for the entire flight. 4 EUR of that fee goes towards our charity of the month.
Flights served by wide-body aircraft:
Food:
In Alytus Class (economy), one complimentary meal is included on all long-haul flights. One non-alcoholic beverage is also complimentary at the beginning of the flight. At the end of the flight, one non-alcoholic beverage is again complimentary, and a second meal is available for purchase. All other beverages and snacks are available for purchase from our inflight team.
In Alytus Plus (economy extra legroom), one warm and one cold meal are complimentary on long-hauls. Two non-alcoholic beverages are also included. Other beverages and snacks are available to purchase throughout the flight from our inflight team.
In Alytus Supreme (Premium economy), two warm meals are complimentary, along with unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. One alcoholic beverage is included complimentarily for those who are drinking age in both the country of origin and the country of destination.
Entertainment:
In all service classes on wide-body aircraft, a high-definition LED entertainment system awaits you upon boarding. Those in Alytus and Alytus Plus classes can access the entire selection for just 8EUR, 4 EUR of which goes to our charity of the month. Otherwise, each movie is 3EUR, 2EUR of which goes to charity, and each TV episode is 1EUR, 0.6EUR of which goes to charity. Each song is 0.1EUR, of which 0.05 EUR goes to charity.
Those in Alytus Supreme receive complimentary access to an unlimited selection of movies, TV shows, and songs.
WiFi passes on long-haul aircraft start at only 3.5EUR, and large portions of WiFi fees are donated to the charity of the month as well.
Charity of the Month - July 2018: World Vision DR Congo
Alytus Fleet
Alytus proudly operates a thoroughly modern fleet, with all aircraft types in production, and no aircraft older than 15 years.
Bombardier Q400:
The Q400 is the smallest type in the Alytus fleet, and is used to operate high-frequency and low-demand flights. The Q400 features four Alytus Plus seats at the front of the aircraft, and 74 Alytus class seats in the rest of the plane. The Q400 has jet-like speed and noise levels, however, it has turboprop takeoff distances and excellent fuel efficiency.
Embraer E190:
![[Image: 4mS28AQ.png]](https://i.imgur.com/4mS28AQ.png)
The E190 is the backbone of many of Alytus' hubs. The "Jungle Jet", as some call it, is a very capable aircraft with short takeoff distances, and great fuel efficiency. At Alytus, the E190 is equipped with 10 Alytus plus seats, six of which are located at the front of the aircraft, and four of which are located mid-cabin, at the exit row. Alytus operates both the E1 and E2 variants of this aircraft.
Boeing 737 MAX 7:
Alytus intends to order the Boeing 737 MAX 7, as it will afford great comfort for passengers, and with its immense range, and immense flexibility with airports and fuel efficiency, this is the perfect aircraft! The MAX 7 will be equipped with 16 Alytus Plus seats, which feature additional legroom, and 132 Alytus Class seats.
Boeing 737 MAX 8:
Alytus uses the Boeing 737 MAX 8 for intra-european flights with higher demand, and these aircraft will eventually be deployed on longer, transatlantic segments. The 737 MAX 8 is configured with 51 Alytus Plus seats, and 138 Alytus Class seats (189Y in-game because of inability to change legroom).
Boeing 737 MAX 9:
Alytus also intends to order a limited number of Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft. This aircraft has a large seating capacity, and is perfect for high-demand routes. The MAX 9 will be equipped with 24 Alytus Plus seats, and 188 Alytus class seats.
Boeing 787-8:
Alytus uses the Boeing 787-8 for long-haul flights. While the -8 variant is the smallest, it still has a high seating capacity and range. Alytus' 787s are equipped with 21 Alytus Supreme seats, 51 Alytus Plus seats (49 in-game because of exit-row limitations), and 263 Alytus class seats.
Current fleet listing:
- 3 Bombardier Q400, with two on order (deliveries start July 9th)
- 2 Embraer E190
- 5 Embraer E190-E2, with 5 on order (deliveries start July 22nd)
- 3 Boeing 787-8

| Edit airline details + CEO name |

You can now edit your airline's IATA code, callsign, and specify a CEO name. This is all in the edit airline page, previously the "change airline name" page. You can change your IATA code, callsign, and CEO name as many times as you want without penalty but changing your airline name will still cost money & reputation. I also changed the formula for that a bit so it is more expensive to change your name. You now get a reputation penalty regardless of your current reputation, currently you could change your name and if you were under 50% reputation it would not penalize you any rep points - not sure why I made it that way initially, but regardless it is changed now to give a rep penalty regardless of your current reputation.
Thanks to Dokhu for the CEO name idea

How is the infrastructure measured? I can't figure out if it's the number of the employees or whatever it is.
If the needed capacity runs over 2000, what will happen?
Also, did anyone reached level 5 or 6 for their corporate building yet?

Hey there,
As an actual airline employee; I'm very keen in having the most motivated and happiest staff in the game (whilst not going out of business for being an anti-competitive). What's your average attrition rate and tips to improve employee satisfaction?

IATA Code : OL
ICAO Code : OLY
Callsign : OLYMPUS
Olympus is the flag carrier of Greece and the largest Greek airline by fleet size, number of passengers carried and total number if international destinations served. It operates International and domestic flights from its main hubs, Athens International Airport (AIA), Thessaloniki International Airport and Larnaca International Airport. Olympus is a full-service carrier, serving a great variety of In - Flight services on all International and some Domestic flights.
History
Olympus was founded on November 8th 1986 as Olympus Hellenic Airways S.A and started commercial operations on January 1st 1987 with two brand new Boeing 737-300s. The first commercial flights were Athens - Thessaloniki and Athens - Larnaca.
In the end of the first year of operations, Olympus announced it had a profit margin of 36.42%, while demand for International and Domestic Air Travel, mainly from Athens, was rising and the country's overall tourism was booming. In April 1988, Olympus leased 3 737-300s to help expand its operations. The new 737-300s started flights to Rome, Munich, Budapest, Heraklion and Corfu. By the end of 1997, the airline's fleet consisted of 13 Boeing 737-300s.
In October 1998, Olympus made the switch and ordered a total of 20 Airbus A320-200s. The order consisted of 12 owned and 8 leased A320s. The new aircraft family was going to replace the 737-300s by the end of 2006 and modernise the airline's fleet. Deliveries of the A320-200s started in February 2000. As of July 2017, Olympus' fleet consisted of 53 aircraft from the A320 family.
In 2014, during the Farnoborough Air Show, Olympus made a major announcement regarding its future. The airline ordered 40 aircraft from the A320neo family as well as 21 aircraft from the A350 family. As of today, this order still marks the largest investment ever made by the Olympus Group as well as one of the largest ones during Greece's financial crisis. Deliveries for the A320neo aircraft began in May 2018 while the A350 ones are set to begin in late June of the same year.
Livery
Unlike any other greek airline, Olympus used for its logo the deer with which it tried to promote Greece as a year-round destination which not only offers beautiful islands and crystal clear waters, but also high mountains, high altitude rivers and lakes, and even skiing resorts which can provide unforgettable experiences. Also, Olympus uses the deer to promote the preservation of the environment. The airline has made big donations which aim the return of the deer to its natural habitat, and especially in the Mountain Range of Olympus.
Olympus' first livery was used from 1987 until 2001, when the Ellinikon Airport was shut down and replaced by the new Athens International Airport ( AIA ).
The first livery painted in a Boeing 737-300 The first livery painted in one of the first A320-200s delivered to Olympus in early 2000
![[Image: yhMfv7a.png]](https://i.imgur.com/yhMfv7a.png) ![[Image: gZjWdce.png]](https://i.imgur.com/gZjWdce.png)
To mark the end of an era and the begining of a new one, Olympus completely changed its livery design in 2001, while keeping the colours and the concept relatively the same
Finally, a few months after the 2014 Farnoborough Air Show, Olympus showcased a revamped livery on an Airbus A321neo. This livery is being used until today.

Tempest
Tempest is your choice for high service, no hassle flying from Amsterdam and San Fransisco. With a fleet of the state of the art jets, a highly trained professional staff and the most open and clear pricing scheme in the industry you are ensured of the best service and the most comfortable means of travel possible.
Why Tempest?
Why Tempest is a question we very much understand. We do not hide what or whom we are, we believe in being clear and open and yes that means we are even open about prices. We know we are not the cheapest option out there, but in return with Tempest you know that the price we show is the price you pay and nothing will ever be added to it, whether it is for your bags or a drink on the plane, with Tempest it is all part of that one price. Not only that, that one price is always the price, there is no wondering and doubting on when to order your tickets, if there are seats available, tickets are sold at the one price whether is that is 4 hours before departure or 4 months.
So why Tempest? Because with us you are ensured of clarity, simplicity and world leading service. Travel does not need to be stressful, it should be enjoyed or at least be stress free and that is why you wish to fly with Tempest.
The fleet & our service on board
Air travel is not the most environmentally friendly means of transport, but with our state of the art planes from Airbus it is not remotely as bad as you would think. If you think up some of the most fuel efficient cars and understand most people drive those alone, you actually burn less fuel flying on board our planes than you would driving that very efficient car. It is for this reason we are very pleased with our Airbus fleet and out partner ship with Airbus on continuous improvements to these planes.
While efficiency is wonderful, what matters also is the service on board and the seats you can spend sometimes many long hours in. We all know how bad this can be at times, which is why when we went looking to outfit our cabins we did not knock on the well known doors that want to make you believe leather is the end of all things, while you sweat away and the foam of your seat is probably worn to bits. No we looked at office chairs, chairs designed to be sat in for many long hours on end and to this reason we partnered up with Okamura in an industry first to design seats for our cabins. So now we have amazing comfortable, well ventilated mesh seating with adjustable supports meaning you will always be highly comfortable on board our planes no matter the length of your flight.
So we are efficient, comfortable and now all we need is the things that make travel enjoyable. That means great service, great drinks, great food, free internet and entertainment. I mean we said it before and will say it again, we pride ourselves in our service and we do not charge for it, so lean back, enjoy a good bit of eating and drinking before you launch your favorite streaming service and binge watch that latest season as the miles effortlessly fly by. O and if we are to believe the lady in charge, The Balvenie on board is excellent, so try one, just don't let her hear you ordering the ice.

Frustration can be one hell of a motivator and it lies at the cradle of what is now Tempest. For the first time in the companies history they have stepped into the consumer market. Not with IT solutions, but with an airline. That airline was born because of all the travel the staff had to do and just how terrible that experience often was. Now not scared and willing to take a risk or at least do some math on a silly idea after a few to many drinks on a Friday they decided to fly themselves. With a good economy and old airlines struggling under old debt and staff that seem to enjoy standing in high visibility vests and shouting more than doing actual work the risk was still great, but manageable. So that is how we came to exist, frustration mixed with a few drinks and as a result not only we can benefit, but everyone who wants a trouble free air journey can now as well.
The lady in charge:
Tannis Cateau is a Dutch/US citizen known to be very much herself and damn the world, but to damn good at what she does for people to take offense most of the time. Born in the US almost 3 decades ago, it became quickly clear she had a very clear head and a strong will. Running through school as quickly as she could she started programming when she got her first computer and the rest as they say is history. At the age of 18 she formed Tempest an IT solutions company that would soon grow rapidly offering many IT solutions to business with a focus on cyber security before it was hip. Despite all this success she is very much a product of her generation, she does not believe in 12 hour days and 80 hour work weeks, life needs to be enjoyed and if you play your cards well you can make the money and enjoy it at the same time. Being Dutch perhaps it is not to crazy, but for the US side of operations to tell people 40 hours is the max and less can be done was a bit odd for people. But she will do what she wants and people working for her quickly learn to adjust to the fact that while she offers a hell of a lot of freedom to her staff there are boundaries which are not to be crossed.
Now with Tempest stepping into aviation her focus is a bit more split, but over the years she build up a strong staff on the IT side of things and she truly acts as the CEO, leaving the day to day to those in charge. With the aviation side she is a bit more hands on to ensure the young company grows well and becomes a stable factor. She also made clever use of her dual nationality meaning that while on the outside Tempest is one business, it is in fact 2 holding companies that control the EU and US side separately financially with her being the sole owner of both. The question now is, what industry will be next?
