  Routes not being scheduled?
Posted by: Bacon_BMW - 07-24-2018, 08:51 PM - Forum: Support - Replies (12)

I've looked at the other threads but none of them have seemed to answer my problem. I have one ERJ-145 which flies a ERW-RWS-EWR-FLL-ERW on M T F S and ERW-PNS-ERW-JAX-ERW on Su W Th. My ERJ has just gotten to EWR, so I activated the flights. I go to my airline page and none of the flights are scheduled, but I go to my route map and it shows the route. Is there some sort of waiting period after you activate?

Edit: Solved

Sedwick Airport - More Spots and a Building
Posted by: ALT2870 - 07-21-2018, 04:22 AM - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (4)

Side project I have decided to start working on, timeline project in Airport CEO. Will probably be somewhat fast paced but we'll see how it goes. Smile

Welcome to Sedwick County in Sim World. A local group of pilots have started interest in a flying club. After all, would be nice to have a place to park their planes. Upon looking upon vast miles of land, this spot should do the trick, the county road should provide easy access.

The pilots formed the Sedwick County flying club and quickly got to work. The planes are small and don't demand much so a grass strip should do the trick. (The budget of 250k also dictates a lot as well.) A couple of months later and an airport is born.

In order for access from the county road, a small paved road leads up to the parking area. The pilots simply park their cars in the grass and go fly.

Much like everything else, parking is in the grass. Paint dictates the spaces. There are only three spots to park but with only three members, not much more is needed.

The small grass strip will hopefully prove popular for other local pilots. The strip needs money to survive, even if just mowing the grass.

Next time we'll see how well the strip fares with local pilots and expand further.

Emerald Aer - Europes Largest Airline....
Posted by: gaff85 - 07-19-2018, 08:22 PM - Forum: Roleplay - Replies (12)

Emerald Aer Ireland's only 4 star airline is delighted to finally announce our business model.

Our Hub and Base model has been worked over the past number of months, and is finally in operation, our main hubs Dublin (DUB), Los Angeles (LAX) and Dubai (DXB), Our secondary bases are currently open via Atlanta (ATL), Peking (PEK), London Heathrow (LHR), London City (LCY), La Gardia (LGA) and Paris Orly (ORY)

Our frequent flyer "Emerald Green" is now open, and is giving double miles on all business and First Class flights out og ORY and LCY for July and August.

Our Fleet of over 350 aircraft will be based on a 50/50 regime with our lease partners.

In order to keep our fleet competitive, we are working with the aircraft manufacturers and lease companies to identify the most cost competitive aircraft for our ongoing fleet replacement programme.

We have a number of all Business / First Class aircraft operating from LCY and ORY to destination in the US and Asia.

We are looking to increase our based aircraft in PEK and LAX over the coming months.

We have just place an order for 10 320NEO, 10 A220-300 and 10 SSJ100's

  Ryanair flight loses cabin pressure
Posted by: chaitanya - 07-14-2018, 02:41 PM - Forum: Aviation - Replies (1)

Quote:More than 30 Ryanair passengers, some bleeding from their ears, have received hospital treatment in Germany after their plane to Croatia lost cabin pressure, German police say.

Flight FR7312 from Dublin to Zadar made an emergency landing in Frankfurt.

The airline said oxygen masks were deployed and the crew carried out a "controlled descent".

The plane descended 8,000m (26,000ft) from 11,300m to 3,000m in seven minutes, according to Flight Radar.

What do you think of the Boeing 797?
Posted by: chaitanya - 07-12-2018, 06:38 PM - Forum: Aviation - Replies (1)

Quote:Boeing is considering an NMA-6X with capacity for 228 passengers and 5,000 nautical miles and a larger NMA-7X which can accommodate 267 passengers and offer 4,200 nautical miles of range, but the design is yet to be finalized.

The 797 family, if green-lit, would not launch until 2025, at which point airlines would have to have made plans to accommodate the rate of growth that the industry faces. Boeing would need commitments to the 797 early on. It may succeed in getting these, with the backing of the original U.S. airlines that are hungry for the plane and some MOU commitments from airlines around the world. But there are still too many unknowns for confidence.
