Can I ask when does the flight profits hit your account, is it when the plane takes off or lands?

Routes flying on days when they shouldn't.
Posted by: Jamesthomeson - 05-23-2018, 05:48 PM - Forum: Support - Replies (2)

I know I know, me again.
Here's the next issue.

So these are two of the routes I have. As you can see, both are assigned to the same aircraft and both are set to fly on certain days of the week.

I realized the problem today as I had both routes active at the same time and since it's Wednesday, aircraft N502NE should be scheduled to fly to Cancun and back, but I looked at the active flights tab and it was scheduled for SMF and etc.

I thought it had something to do with time zones because I live under EST and the origin airport for the routes is 3 hours behind me but three hours wouldn't make that big a difference would it.

Route supply WAAAAAAY higher than it should be.
Posted by: Jamesthomeson - 05-23-2018, 05:25 PM - Forum: Support - Replies (2)

So two routes that I just started flying, maybe 2 to 3 days ago have really high route supplies even though I just recently started them up and I am the only airline to fly them. The routes are SEA-COS and SEA-BIL See below
Anybody have an idea what the problem might be?

  Very low load factor
Posted by: Frenchie - 05-23-2018, 05:05 PM - Forum: Support - Replies (6)

Hello everyone, I wanted to know whether I am the only one who's experienced very low (less than 5%) load factors for some of my flights and low load factors in general? (my best flight in the past 24 hours had a 60% load, followed by another with 47% and then 26%)

Granted some of these routes merit load factors around or bellow 75%, especially if flown multiple times a day (such as Cordoba-Bahia Blanca) but receiving a load factor of 1% on the busiest domestic route in Argentina (Cordoba-Buenos Aires) is frankly plain wrong.

Could it have to do with the fact that these flights are all out of Jorge Newberry and not the international airport of Buesnos Aires (Ministro Pistarini)? If so I think the demand formula should be adjusted given some smaller airports (such as London Stansted, Paris Orly, Chicago Midway etc.) are still very popular and busy given they belong to large cities.

Otherwise I don't really know what I am doing wrong...

  Active loans cap
Posted by: Dokhu - 05-21-2018, 06:19 PM - Forum: Support - Replies (6)

Hi.

If I have one or several loans and never pay them. What is the limit or the effect of not paying in addition to the interest increase?

Thanks.

  Plane crashes in Cuba
Posted by: Stebah - 05-18-2018, 06:32 PM - Forum: Aviation - Replies (1)

A Cubana Boeing 737-400 wetleased from Blue Panorama just crashed after taking off from La Havana Airport.

The plane was en route to Holguin with 104 passengers and 9 crew.

Update:

It's now being reported that the flight was operated by Global Air, a Boeing 737-500.

It is being reported that some people have been rescued from the crash site.

  Possible change/fix to route creation
Posted by: Unknown98 - 05-11-2018, 02:04 AM - Forum: Game Discussions - Replies (3)

There is an issue with route creation where if a flight is ready at, say, 23:30, and you set the next flight to take off at 00:15, you will get an error "departure time of leg Y is before ready time of leg X".

This can be worked-around by making the previous flight be ready after midnight, but it's not very user-friendly to do that. What I was thinking is, the ability to introduce additional turn times into route scheduling. This would essentially alter the "ready at" time of each flight, and it would allow you to have a flight land at 22:00, be ready at 22:30, but then add an additional 1:30 of turn time to make it ready at midnight. That would then get rid of the error.

Still not 100% user friendly, but I don't know of another way to do it other than a checkbox that says "this flight departs the following day" but that's even less user friendly and has it's own issues that I would have to then account for and address in the scheduling logic. Turn time is already worked into the logic, so this is the easiest way for me to do this.

I just wanted your thoughts. Initially I was thinking of replacing the departure time dropdown boxes with the additional turn time box, but that would make it more difficult to select specific times, so I think I'll leave that as is.
